HF ran on a platform of lynching Palmar, and Palmar ran on a platform of lynching Sent for a variety of reasons inclusive of a policy lynch of Sent for failing to read his role PM.

with about a half an hour left in the game, rayn, FF, iamp, Damdred brought HF to several votes over HF, pushing him into a comfortable lead over Palmar, and most of the votes consolidated onto either me or Trfel.

with 10 minutes left, HF basically had the mayor vote locked up, 4 votes ahead of Palmar, thanks to Damdred and Iamp also hopping on his mayor wagon. For the lynch, I had 10 votes to Trfel's 9:

You'll note my vote isn't on Trfel here, I keep it on Iamp since he's a shitter and I don't want to accidentally get someone other than me lynched.

Exo comes in and votes me, making it 11-9.

3 minutes to the deadline, Vivax swaps over from me to Trfel, tying it up at 10-10 (though i'll be lynched in this tie)

2 minutes to the deadline, Lightingstrike jumps from his irrelevant rsoultin vote onto me, making it 11 votes on me, 10 on Trfel.

1 Minute from the Deadline, conversion hops off of me and onto Trfel, causing Trfel to have 11 votes and me to have 10.

Trfel flips Doctor.

HF uses his mayoral power to kill Palmar, the backup Cop.

despite HF's promise to shoot Palmar with the mayor power, maybe they thought he'd use it on me. Maybe (and perhaps correctly) they figured I'd be vigged anyways. maybe they thought my lynch would be boring and provide little info.

And in any case, if you're scum, making a bit fuss out of two competing town wagons can make you look good if you pull it off right, since...

well, imagine you have a theory of "BH is scum, and conversion, his scumbuddy, saved him at the last minute"

In this case, you lynch or vig BH first, because conversion's scum-nature is contingent on mine. And if you're conversion, you know town will think this, and lynch me first, and when I flip town, Conversion is then off the hook. by shenanniying from me onto Trfel, he sets up a Day 2 mislynch, theoretically speaking.

though that's fairly WIFOMey, it's the kind of play I like to do as scum. I'm sure there are others who use it.
