Okay, found it. There are several mafia-motivated reasons for Rels to claim this. He is or has likely been a framer or have had self-framing abilities. Town already had a role (Chezinu) that was able to protect himself twice. It's likely mafia had a similar role to counteract that and/or any third party having this ability would also make no sense or be disadvantageous for mafia if the third party survivor would town side and play akin to a veteran trying to draw kp. Mafia Rels claiming this protects himself against detective or DT-like roles checking for lurkers. It also covers himself in the event a tracker tracked him to (framing) himself. You can also consider that if Rels truly wanted to town side and had this ability, he'd have clearly gone town and tried to absorb mafia KP, that clearly didn't happen. | ||

I think IAMP is third party but are you sure he has kp? I would rather take out mafia as they are more likely to have kp, that'd be our only chance. | ||
