You didn't ruin the last game, people are frustrated because 10 people of the 13 player game didn't play either. You're just an easy target (and one of the ten).

Yo fazer, If you are referring to last game with the last sentence, the major thing you did wrong was the self vote. Pretty much that is it (yes, your play could of been much better I'll admit, yet more on that later.) Slam also played against his win-con as well, so you are not technically alone. Your play also that game, while (and yes, I am going to be blunt because i'm trying to help) was pretty bad, you still did much better than the first game you played in, especially early on when I pressured you. From what i can tell, you just seem to get fog swamped when reading, or just lack the ability to really read and understand what happening. While, I am not the best when it comes to that, I can relate as that was what i felt like in my first few games. I could also look more at your filter just to see, and pm you what I think you can do better, but again, addressed more at the bottom. Moving onto this game, If you do not have time, then yes, /obing is def. better (as you can be a risk for town or your scum team.) No biggy thou, as we always try to have a newbie game open for sign ups, so once you get on a better time frame, you can join another one. Also, I might just explain to you in the obs thread a bit about analyzing and general and kinda coach you(ish). So even though you are not playing, you can still get better (as you will once you obs/play games.) so yeah!

Yes, he did. Why are you lying to him? Being bad is not the problem. Not even trying and actively sabotaging your team by voting yourself is the problem and that's a decision which has nothing to do with any skill level. Fazers, noone is blaming you for having bad reads or "being bad" (whatever that is supposed to mean). People are blaming you for barely posting enough to not get removed by the mod and then selfvoting when people pressured you for it. The game of mafia is about arguing and convincing people. If you present no arguments and won't try to convince people of your innocence or the guilt of someone else then this isn't the game for you. If you want to learn how to do it the newbie game is a good place to start. Make sure to communicate a lot with your coach and ask him for advice if you don't know what to do. Bot don't ever vote yourself again. There will always be people who are out to lynch you or who will question you. You need to engage and argue with them instead of what you did last game.

As someone completely new to mafia, you need to take one key piece of advice - make use of your coach as best as possible. They are always there to help you, there are some limitations per rules on what they can say, but there are a lot of things they can do with respect to helping you achieve what you need to as either alignment.

I'm new to the site, but not new to mafia. I might like to play in this game, but I have some questions first. 1) How many posts are typical for Day 1 here? 2) My brother has an account for this site and we share the same IP address. Will this be a problem if one of us gets banned from the site?

For a mini, between 500 and 1500 depending on the spamminess of the player list. On May 23 2016 15:52 QuickTwist wrote: 2) My brother has an account for this site and we share the same IP address. Why would one of you get banned from the site ? p: Should it ever happen, I think you usually get banned by account name and not via IP unless there is a reason to IP ban you so it shouldn't matter.
