1) I think just meta wise that the general activity and the way shining is going about this makes him town. - This is probably the least important point that i'm going to make but generally when shining is scum (even when he gets called out) he likes to be super background and not really interact unless he has to. 2) When hes scum he generally like I said before is pretty lurky without getting involved (besides catching up and recapping events) - This is super important even though his early posts were pretty worthless when he saw things that he generally was interested in (even if it was about him) he immediately went in and tried to get things going on from his perspective. 3) His attack on Palmar I think is genuinely town indicative. - Palmar is a hard target even for top townies, and while I think that shining is a good player as scum he generally attacks lower activity players, which fid could be an example of this. But his somewhat BM towards Palmar and his continued attack shows a clear lack of caring if he lives or dies. Which in shinings case actually is indicative of him being town. 4) I already said activity but I wanted to re interate that Shining does not really have connectivity to the internet on Mondays and Tuesdays, and he hates playing as scum. While its not super indicative I think ti does have some bearing on him to me. Overall I think even though he probably is wrong about Palmar (i'm not super convinced either way), I think hes probably town even if its weak currently. | ||

Like its really really to early for me to be sold on it, but the way trfel goes defensive and omgus instead of sort of buddying up to me and trying to change my mind that way made me think maybe its just town being dumb. | ||

Something that gives me pause on Trfel. he went through all that time to make that case on me and obviously was here (might of had to leave) but never cared enough to really push anyone talking at the time to comment on it? | ||

Onto that trfel post I don't mind it so much, its a bit odd in one respect that if trfel was scum he would want stupid arguments in thread and me tilting not being calm. That's total wifom and not worth talking about. overall I think its not quite indicative either way but its a good sentiment | ||

There's one thing I hope to check eventually, though. I kind of want to lynch The Shining, but that seems like a very bad idea right now. He's put in a bunch of effort (regardless of alignment) on a busy day for him. Most of the problems that I have with his posts are wording, tone, and a bit of consistency, which aren't the most reliable. I do feel that his posting somewhat fits mafia motivation, but I'm nowhere near confident enough to be happy lynching him now. I feel that The Shining's alignment will become very clear with a bit more time. I still think that Damdred is mafia, but I remembered that the past several times I've played with Damdred (both town) I've always thought he was mafia I'm guessing that I have some preconceived notions for what I expect Damdred to do, and whenever he doesn't behave exactly as I would expect him to, I think he's mafia. And it seems to be very hard for me to separate this from mafia motivations...Did anyone else find Damdred's townread of The Shining a bit off? Palmar commented on why the third point is invalid, which I completely agree with. Of course I see a difference, but what was my play? | ||

Trfel uses stupid arguments early to try to convinced thread that damdred is scum. (I use stupid here not in offense to trfel) Time passes, damdred town leans him for the stupid argument. Later trfel decides his argument is partially stupid so apologizes for it but states he still doesn't think damdred is totally town. Scum trfel doesn't like giving up things and fights for his stupid arguments. I know this is wifom so I font think its indicative. Its different if only slightly | ||
