Also, not trying to be a dick but when you are on a mission with two people who have been really townie, it's a fair chance that townies think you are scum when the mission fails when you just do nothing at all..... Town credit lasts as long at it does, and Xatalos (while having said some weird shit) looked way more townie than you did.

Need to work for another 2h, so ducking outta here...ggs again.

And yeah I took quite a risk by replicating my town meta like that. The only reason I did that really was because we had just talked about it with rayn on Skype, and I knew that if I didn't just post "stream of thought" style, he would be immediately suspicious of me. Also it was enough to sabotage the first team, I wouldn't have to keep it up all game. If I had just played standard, I doubt I would have ever gotten on a mission this game.

Anyways i am waiting for the banlist thread. I have a lot to say. ![](/mirror/smilies/smile.gif)
GG ppl and thanks for the hosts and apologies for James.

Also friendly fuck you Rels :D I got you, i so got you, and then ppl started being dumb.

OK I really don't want to brag or anything, this is my feeling. I felt like this game was town favored. Even if the scums wins the first 2 missions, they can lose extremely easily with all the information available to town. And if any of the first 2 missions passes, townies becomes confirmed and the game is almost over for scums. Is it balanced IRL ? If it's the case, I feel like having a lot of time analyzing votes and team submissions and reads is a big disavantadge for scums.

lol no worries. I probably messed up at some point if only the mafia players were willing to town read me.
I think the SL pass vote on mission one messed me up the most. He hard scum read xata and then let it go through anyways. It took me a couple cycles to get over that and by the time I did, he already hated me. It was tough to get any traction on artanis once everyone suspected me and having the bad town read on rels probably didn't help.
Guess we are even for personality now rels

I think both the balance and the player experience would be improved by cutting the length of the game by a third. I'm not really sure the best way to do so, but the mafia team doesn't need to keep up the act for as long and we don't have to put up with so many dead cycles towards the end of the game. Ideally, town should probably fail the first 3-4 nominations each cycle for info, but when that adds an extra 48 hours each time it really becomes a drag.

It doesn't really work that way As town I would have been slightly more suspicious of rayn (here I just didn't want to antagonize him since he usually ends up tunneling you if you do), but I would have always scumread you there regardless. Your YES vote when you scumread me so much before was just that suspect.
|
Question for Vivax - why did you think rayn was hard bussing me?
Wasn't making up anything about the post-game address, but obviously I will be saving that for the ban list at this rate but on topic, I really want to know why you thought that was fake on his part.

You didn't do anything on first 48h, he did. He was being reasonable (at least it looked like he was). What am i supposed to think?
I'll be honest, when i got modkilled i thought scum was Xatalos/Artanis/kitaman. Because out-game i can say whatever i want to without it affecting THE game. But in-game i am NEVER EVER gonna townread someone who is scummy over a person who might be scum, but still looks better. I just can't do that. In normal games i can lynch stupidity, and win after, in case i live, but meh, Resistance is hard.
Town lost because town was bad, me included. We were not playing together. We were not doing things we are supposed to do. Hell some people were not even reading the thread at all.... So yeah, we deserved to lose.

Gg everyone, especially scumteam.
I had hopes that SL was going to be town hero and pull the win out, but seemed like everyone was too demodivated/tired by the last couple of phases.
I'll havemore thoughts to share when I'm not at work.

WP everyone. MVP was HTS IMO. Didn't have the time to play, was pushed hard D1, and still managed to solve 2 / 3 scums. Good night folks (= see you in the next game.

fucking never. someone who doesn't read games is not MVP. Ever.

In my view, sicklucker played out of his mind towards the end. He was the ONLY person on Artanis, when the latter was being universally townread. I think he deserved the MVP. If more townies had listened to him, I think town wins.
