I suppose the game has to be started somehow, you'll have to pardon me for not joining this "everyone gets a read" -start, as I'd prefer to be more confident in my reads before sharing any (unless others feel like my opinion is valuable enough / they need more contest to be able to read me from), in which case I'm willing to share my more unsure / leaning a bit towards something reads. I will do the same, don't worry ^^ My post wasn't a recommendation of this way to play the game.

I didnt care that much but it was a free town read and kind of a test I have no idea what you are trying to achieve with your question. You'll figure out who are lurkers and who are not easily, because lurkers do not post... You'll figure out who is good and who is not, because good people are listened to. Who cares who is good as scum and who is not? Scum are still scum, scum do scummy stuff, townies don't. Like if we say player X is good as scum do you not townread him for doing townies stuff? That's just dumb.

But I'm not up to analyzing that part yet. I'm actually just up to around Chapter 2 which is kind of sad but the book is pretty dense. One thing that's interesting is that there are a fair number of references to doorways and entrances. This can be read as the protagonist's dislike of beginnings and ends as doorways are commonly associated with such motifs. On the other hand, it's rather telling when we extrapolate this interpretation into when he enters the public house as he does so very willingly. Now, if we look at how he does so, he says his mind clears after drinking the ale although he says that he is thinking rather morbidly. This is very important as it shows that his morals around killing the woman in the first place are disappearing. And this is important as it has relations to Macbeth. ...to be continued... altho this is pretty scummy. I have been pretty offtopic myself but this blows shit out of the water.

Why are you smurfing if you are new here or do people in this game in fact know you?

I didnt care that much but it was a free town read and kind of a test I won't mind answering your questions otherwise, but I think it would be stupid of me (as someone who hasn't been around for years), to claim that I have any idea about people and their meta. I'm just going to consider like I never knew anything about any player here and make my reads based on that, with a small exception for some experience being into account. (As in, I am well aware that some players in the game have an extensive history of playing mafia, which will more or less affect the way they approach the game.)
