yah, I have a feeling it's less discussion-intensive because it will be more heavy on the mindgame side.

Though still if we agree that everyone loads, and every townie does, it leaves mafia back to shoot especially if you see 2 townies dying.Though still we are left with 4 townies who have 8 shots and 2 mafia who has no shot, this is advantageous to town, no? More likely we bring mafia to the game too by having them load, but then we have 6 townies with 12 shots and 2 mafia with 4 shots, I still think in such a game it favours the mass.

But consider this, if we don't misshoot, mafia needs at least 5 turns to win: shoot, load, shoot, load, shoot. Successfully defending one or two shots can drag this out to 6 turns for mafia to win, while we'd only need to hit two of them somewhere in between, killing one of them basically doubles the remaining time for them to win, if we don't misshoot. I'm stressing this "don't misshoot" because we don't have lynch mechanism to balance it out, so we have to be extra careful when shooting someone.

Well I'm still waging between loading and defending, we'll see.

btw Damdred, your conclusion is wrong, not everyone shot. I just tried to make a cannonball analysis. It's not possible, you don't know whether the guys who died shot or loaded.

Assuming so far: me 2 shots left, you 1 shot left, TT 2 shots left. That's 5/8, so it's 3 CB for both Sulfurus and Shockey. One of them must have shot and the other defended, because they both went in N2 with 2 CB each.

My reasoning was that I was already being town read and that if someone else shot Obi they would need the town cred more than I did. Honestly I have a bias towards being secretive and typing as little into the thread as possible. Well killing someone or stating killing someone after the fact doesn't really confirm anyone as anything because of possible overlap. But I'd be interested why you picked out Obi, what made him scum? Besides I don't know, Damdred stated shooting FF, me and TT stated defending and gave our explanations, if you shot someone it's kinda clear that Shockeyy was defending too (which he later confirmed too). Like, from your perspective you must have known that no one else killed Obi or wanted to be credited or associated with the Obi kill, why trying to give others more town credit especially when stating killing Obi isn't going to do that technically?

No Damdred, the posts from Sulf is too close, he was talking about something before, that makes you in his opinion scum. Your load on N7 kinda surprised me TT, I was supposed to be out of defends after I defended on N6, so I was sure you were gonna shoot to possibly win or pull a draw.

Which then as it appears, voting is really the key mechanism to get people talking. And if you don't talk then you're either scum or at best disposable town. But I don't know, maybe Sentinel can tell us whether such a game could have unfolded in a different way? I always had the feeling people really wanted to participate and talk, but then felt "ah no, I just talk a bit less, it's fine" and this kinda spirals down and ends up making everybody mirror each other.
