Because you KNOW that Artanis is town and are cautious because if you also know that NaCl is town then you know something is up.

1. correctly and astutely pointed out something from artanis that was way off (it was)
2. pursued him for it
3. backed off artanis a little because a couple of his posts seemed genuine post-claim (not mentioned this - along the lines of candidly admitting he was an idiot + saying he called me bad just to be an asshole)
4. evaluated the two claims, saw what you said about artanis, but still felt unsure that i should be on him (it seems correctly)
like none of my play has led anywhere in the end, but i'm pretty pleased with how i went about it and as the basis for a (portential) scumread on me i find it pretty ridiculous.

Honestly I can see Marv's reaction to the claims post-claim as marv simply being less involved in the game because of stupidity, thus caring less about the game which leads to more mellow replies than marv normally would give. I still think he's likely to be town.
Going to read the yamato thing more in depth now.
