If you're taking away from the mafia team because of 3P, you shouldn't. SK is dumb because while it is an anti-swing mechanic, it's also really hard for either team to identify and take out (usually). Survivor has the same problem but usually wins with the winning side, so it doesn't matter, it just takes away from town #s. Assassins play their own microcosm of the game within the game and cause confusion with ulterior motives and such, but again rarely make mafia's life any harder than would a VT in their place and usually just take away from town #s in a balanced set-up. | ||

As for me, RNGed assassin in JOAT. Somehow managed to win, considering that game was a train wreck for town and I think I was more of an enemy to myself than the other assassin (Robik) was. Third parties aren't a big deal. Only played one game with an SK in Titanic 7, and ritoky wasn't that hard to isolate. Xata in Ippo though was definitely harder, but had the KP not relied on multiple hits (hp system), mafia would have NKed him anyways. That was more on the hp system than on the fact there was a 3p - any third party acting that townie would have gotten NKed, end of. | ||
