-c- came in with what I feel was a very bold 1st post (list) that bugged me. why would he pick 3 scum out of the active players and and let others slide just because he didn't have a read (afk/low post count)? he had some decent points, but was it all to put on pressure or to start swaying people? without experience, it doesn't feel like something town would do (and this is -c-'s 2nd game afaik) that followed into the rather aggressive finger pointing with scott. I had a weird feel from him from the start and non of what -c- said helped him... but again it just feels like "an easy target" to try to get people to bandwagon. ...but all that leaves me is not wanting to vote for either one (yet). | ||

Your case against scott is the first i've ever seen so i'll really have to give it a few more reads (as well as rereading the whole thread). That said, I'm still not shaking the strange feeling that you're trying too hard to get a ML.. (hence I'm not jumping on the scott train yet.) Have your feelings towards ritoky changed? I still see his "loopy" entrance as a red flag (as big if not bigger than people that haven't been posting). | ||

ML is how they win right? I haven't found any fault in the case (again, first one I've read) and I have nothing but that uncomfortable feeling towards -c- keeping me from voting Scott... reg ritoky's subsequent posts... He starts loopy, get's straight but then it reverts a bit when ff brings it up He then posts in a normally but without much for me to get a read from. His T reads didn't have much to them except "they agreed with me". He's very dismissive of "poor reads" on him.. but I can't his comfort (not being defensive) comes from practice or being T. overall I just don't like his tone (but this is probably just personal and NAI) | ||

It's two early things about -c-: The entire "tone" and timing of his first post followed by the relentless push towards scott. This just seems then things like I have absolute confidence in my reads actually Nice try, but you've just confirmed you're mafia. followed by Guys, lets lynch scott. Personally I'm about 95% sure he's mafia at this point and if he's not he's playing in a way detrimental to town anyway. It's just sounds like -c- is willing to do anything to get scott (even if he's not scum?)... I do like the read on scott and haven't found anything wrong in the case. | ||

I suppose three months is long enough out to recover somewhat from the previous game. Wasn't sure I'd play again after that last one but... Last game I went dormant after I lost my temper after being interrogated for like six hours straight Like I said (and was asked of me) I'm definitely re-reading the case, scott's filter and the entire thread. @ritoky appreciate you straight up calling me wrong :D I guess if this is an "all in" attempt to get a ML it wouldn't be very good d1 play cause we'd just go after -c- d2? | ||

. My wife is taking a 2 week trip to the states (leaves 4 am - 2h after EoN) so I've been hanging out and helping her pack and get some last minute shopping done. I'll try to get some EoD thoughts in before EoN but no promises - Need to really reread a few interactions (particularly the stuff between HtS and me). I had a strong T read on her but want to reread with all the recent action. I also need to look into the TT discussion cause he had the same uneasiness about the Scott wagon being "too easy" (could just be both of us being new, but - and i think i stated it earlier - it gave me a T read on him). Anyone able to explain Scott's vote? Although Dis's frustration could be from being called out, I do get more of a T read on being frustrated from the ML too. | ||

I'll start with the easy part and then try to be more decisive. TT, reread the after your quote. I initially had the same problem as you where the scott train "felt too easy" and I had one other scum (tone) read. Unfortunately the person who I was reading happened to be the same person pointing the finger at scott (and universally accepted as being T). After that post (where I indeed didn't have a conclusion) I tried pushing -c- regarding and ended up in a discussion with HtS. Now that I've got a day under my belt I'm a bit more warmed up. | ||

Tictock He's also one of the few people that expressed hesitation to jump on the "easy" train. I felt the same as d1 rookie town. I believe the way he voted was just a rookie mistake. disformation is it supposed to be disINformation? (that's not a read on him, just curious if people have been writing his name like that on purpose?) His smiles bug me - they make me feel like he's trying to win favor. Trying to sound friendly and helpful. prplhz more like rdhz. No d1 excuse... no filter.. OMGUS vote on HtS. All of that could change if we get some d2 out of him. I particularly don't like + Show Spoiler + you guys need to push this hts thing btw. don't know when's the last time i saw a scum be up for lynch and then oppose the alternative wagon (well okay i sort of did that when it was me or LS in titanic but that was probably a bad move lol). sicklucker I've been waiting for some d2 content from him... all I see is statistical claims. (one of my favorite quotes of all times is "figures don't lie, but liars do the figuring"). Since then, I've always been a skeptic and need some proof(s). "75% of statistics are made up" Stutters695 another "no d1" case... but picking up a bit more now. His posts seem to have direction but it's all at prp without much more than meta. So far I'm not trying to form a scum team so I'm not concerned with a red read voting another red read. Going to be on more now and looking into d2 more critically (especially the interactions of the reds and half red) | ||

But what if scum didn't read it that way (at least during the night?) Now, there were 3 people on the HtS wagon (one being Prpl) and one vote on Prpl (so 3 potential vigilantes to look out for). They guessed right and RB'd the biggest danger to HtS (If HtS wasn't scum, WHY RB SOMEONE GUNNING FOR HER??). Now, why not just kill Super? Again, with his EoD charge against HtS it would look kind of obvious to kill him (and there's the possibility that he had a doc visit since Ritoky + Show Spoiler + beyond pro play by dis to pick up the CC in place of Ritoky, just a shame Ritoky thanked him instead of keeping up the charade Beyond that, I think SL and his "I do math for a living - trust me" is my "wtf stutters is town" #3. Anyway, been a long and hard day (had to put my cat down today) and I have a tournament to wake up early for tomorrow. (I'll recheck the thread in about 15 min before going to bed) | ||

didn't turn my computer on yesterday. had an American football tournament (first time I've played competitively in almost 15 years! - holy fuck am I hurting today.) I've also otherwise been about trying to distract myself (no wife or cat at the moment so it's a bit lonely at home). anyway... I appreciate the filter dive on me, but did you look at my filter for EVERYONE for comparison? (Ritoky at one point also noted that I hadn't posted much about my opinion of him changing). I've said a few times I agree with TT's thinking and like him T for it. I'm not sure SL is mafia - as I'm not sure you are. The strongest thing I currently have is the N1 actions. I'm not going to throw away my vote like Scott did and if that means switching to SL I will - because I do support the arguments for it. If I'm dead either way then I'll keep my vote on you just as a reminder to others. | ||

The options you present don't fit that mold because there's motivation behind them. RB on super to make you look bad is worse (for scum) than simply having you shot incorrectly (if you're town). If we're talking pure behavior I'd lynch SL. Unfortunately even there I'm influenced by his mechanics (or use of mechanics - math). | ||
