Looking at the vote thread Damdred vote sandroba just after yamato got that huge amount of votes though. If I'm not mistaken yamato was even with sandroba when Damdred voted, or at least like -1/+1 vote away and basically everyone had already expressed their preference (though indignant and Jean ninjavoted sandroba at practically the same time making the difference bigger). Something in Damdred's favor I'd say.
