Man scum!bats fitler from that game is funny but he seemed very uninterested in the game as scum. Also the last time I played with bats when he was blue he didn't claim shit as Medic in Campus Mafia so :|.

Day 3

9 February 2015
Muscat, Oman

"What a beautiful day today," exclaimed VayneAuthority as the carrier rounded the Gulf of Oman. "We might be stuck here for a few hours so we may be able to explore the city a bit, loads of exchanges are coming our way. No pirates here so I don't really think we need to worry."

"We are out of harm's way, but are we really out of harm's way?" exclaimed Kelsier. "I mean we got Holyflare killed for bullshit reasons, really."

"I wouldn't worry now. There are no pirates here in Oman. Besides, we have six hours, more than enough time for a little sightseeing, some lunch, etc. Only the patrol team, the cargo squad and the blue squad need to stay aboard along with the general security. Besides we have to do our time in Dubai," reasoned Vayne. "Might as well take advantage of the sights now."

"Just looked up a few good places," announced Geript, "This city has some killer Turkish food, pretty inexpensive, and such. Let's hit up Turkish Diwan by the main hospital, they have an expansive fish bar and the usual array of dishes, and the best part it's far from the damn tourists."

"Thank goodness," responded Tubesock. "I really hate tourists."

A few hours later, Vayne, Kelsier, Tubesock and Geript were noshing on grilled fish, beti kebab, casserole curry and kunafa, amongst other things.

"My god, after all the shit we had to eat on ship, this is heaven," responded Geript as he chomped down on another bite of fish.

As if on cue, all their phones all went off. The caller ID revealed the emergency announcement on board.

"Fuck," muttered Vayne, "NOW what happened?"

Kelsier rang Artanis, who was on patrol, to see what was going on. Not even 15 seconds later, he hung up.

"We have to get back to the ship." he exclaimed. "There's been an explosion or a fire. At least one fatality."

When they arrived at the ship, they found all the sailors queued up, as senior crew were doing a headcount.

"I'm not sure if I want to know who is missing at this point." sighed Kelsier.

Clearly Artanis was okay, as he'd phoned him. He saw ObiWanShinobi, Toad, and several others he recognised.

Everyone in his squad was accounted for. Everyone in his wing was accounted for.

Kelsier managed to swing by the area in question once the sailors had dissipated. The fire had been put out, and there had been two charred bodies at the scene. Headed to the infirmary wing with a brave face, Kelsier strode past the medical team, trying in vain to glean more information.

And then all of a sudden there they were. The bodies were covered with a white cloth, but their feet were visible.

The feet of one had those distinguishable sandals of a pirate. The feet of the other? One of their own.

Eden1892, the ordinary seaman (Vanilla Townie), had died in the deck fire.
JAT, the Hawala Dealer (Mafia Goon), had died in the deck fire.

Day 3 has begun.
