The first goddamn day you have 5 mafias finding reasons to why 1 town is scummy. Then 8 out of the 10 townies need to see through these 5 mafias lies. And then maybe you can have 8/7 votes and vote mafia away. There is actually no good reason why mafia wouldn't just sit with 5 people on 1 townie. And guess what? In every game there is a townie that finds another townie scum, genuinely and often with good reasoning. Do you know how unlikely it is to lynch scum D1? Now do it with 10 vs 5. And remember that once you lynch town D1, you cannot see who was actually pushing mafia. If you then add some people with 1 page filters, the mafia is only forced to make some sense in a 2 page filter to win his cell. While discussion is somewhat limited in this format. Mafia gains more % players, lose nk. Town loses % players, loses flips, loses blue roles, loses the advantage to lynch freely, gain a mafia wagon. PS: if mafia busses they don't lose that advantage later on due to the fact they didn't get NK because they can't get nk. | ||

But not only am I not a fan of setups yet, I am far, far, far from understanding the normal setup, much less a new setup. Plus the game is starting in March. Perhaps I will sign up when it gets closer. | ||
