Not sure if we should lynch hopeless or not today though. There's still the issue if GB's claim is real or not. If he dies tonight and he flips cop, we lynch hopeless. If not, then he gets a valuable parity cop check.

Yeah, I find it hard to believe that mafia would actually shoot the prime.

What does everyone think about just leaving both hopeless and GB alive today?

If I were to pick between hopeless and GB for the mafia, it would be GB.

If hopeless was mafia, mafia would know there was a 50% chance of there being a medic. Would they really shoot the towniest person in the game, who was also a prime? DP was the #1 medic save.

Additionally, shooting DP means that any role claim, be it prime or medic, or cop, instantly paints hopeless as scum. Would have been much better to shoot rayn if going after a top town, or hunt for the blue.

He didn't check hopeless. The existence of a cop means there's only 2 primes. 2 primes have already flipped. Hopeless's prime claim was fake.

I still don't really want to lynch either hopeless or GB. We have mislynches to spend, and it doesn't matter which order we spend them. The longer parity cop lives, the better. If GB dies tonight and flips parity cop, we lynch hopeless. If GB does not die, then he's either mafia or they're not shooting him. If he's mafia we can figure it out. If he's not mafia, then if we do eventually lynch him, we will know his checks at least.

DP was arguably the top town. He had the most influence on day 1, directing everyone to his preferred lynch, and most people were townreading him. Do you think it's possible he was killed because mafia wanted to get rid of the top town?

If DP was shot because he was top town, then he was right on somebody. If I was mafia and the most influential town was only pushing on town, I would leave him alive just to get more mislynches. If this is the case, that makes sn0, ritoky, and GB look bad.

He wasn't the person I expected to flip. Maybe I kinda forgot about him. But with the flip and the cop claim, that's like awful play if GB is mafia. I really want to stick with my initial read that if DP was shot, hopeless is town.

I want to lynch GB, tomorrow. If GB does turn out to be the parity cop, we get one check. Mafia gets the choice to shoot him tonight. If mafia wants to silence his check, they kill GB for us, and we can just lynch hopeless. If mafia doesn't shoot GB, we lynch GB, and if he's the parity cop, we still get the check.

I think this is the most beneficial play.
