Null: yamato - call out with no reasoning. Impossible to say anything about it damdred - 1 post rayn - 1 post lonemeow - not in yet
I'm extremely conflicted about Oats. I hate the fact he called sloosh and koshi scum without any reasoning - and still without explaining why he called it out in the first place. His case against sloosh is pretty paper thin and I disagree with his interpretation of sloosh's posts. My interpretation is that the Oracle, Inquisitor and Wraith do what they think is best in terms of both finding the best time to reveal and expose themselves to soup, and in addition who they target. All of us, including the mentioned roles should (at some point closer to deadline more likely) put in suggestions as to who are the ideal target(s). Obviously we can wait for sloosh to come back to smooth things out a bit, but I feel like Oats is just cherry picking the part that makes sloosh look the worse and ignoring everything around it. Main reason why I'm conflicted is because the way Oats has been playing is classic town Oats and some high percentage of games (I think) end up with Oats being mislynched D1 because of it -_-
IAmRobik - pretty townie, can't see scum seeing the gobble grail vote reasoning before being told about it. I wouldn't ever hammer over this alone, but it's definitely a strike against gobble
Gobble is null-scum - Until I think about it later, something gives me a bad feeling about the initial planning post (regarding Inquis/Oracle visiting the same person) - like it feels like a plan to stifle the information we get from the Inquisitor in order to get Oracle views, which I think is pretty average N1. Then there's the case from Robik which I still think is still decent, but as I said, it's not solid enough evidence.
Scum team prediction so far: 1 of the players who haven't posted more than once or twice, oats and gobble. I'm amazed that you are null reading the person who has posted nothing but 'i think koshi is scum' and 'still think hes scum'. I think it's very weird that yamato would bother to come in, make an unsubstantiated post, and then disappear. Clearly he had the time to post, but his effort doesn't show it. To provide context.

But Sylencia isn't new. How does that line apply to him? I mean I dismissed you activity as could go either way (not in thread) because I've seen you do this from both sides. I'm just not seeing how an essentially "wait and see" approach makes him town.

Gobble gives sylencia a reason to call me mafia. Sylencia, who has called me null, observes that the reason used to call me mafia is unsubstantiated by my previous play, despite how easy it is to just call me mafia. It's a good read, even if the conclusion is null.

That is a pretty good read. I like that reasoning a lot.

So do you care to explain your Rayn, Koshi, Sloosh trifecta?

Lynch the koshi today man. Totally the best move for getting scum day 1

Rayn's recent posting is conflicting. He's being reasonable, which is good, but he's pushing sylencia, which is not.

I feel better about rayn after his most recent slew of posts, particularly the setup one, because it's the same plan I thought up of to myself, and I'm less inclined to think scum rayn would freely give up that info because it's dubious if town would have figured it out.
Nothing alarming about Koshi at this point either.
I think the best lynch at this point is Damdred, and I feel better about this than other lynches because it seems like people are ignoring him. Part of it is meta - Damdred plays an active town game. Look at Neat and Tidy Mafia. 4 pages and was shot N1. Now contextually he is playing 2 games at once, so perhaps a lower post count is expected. So let's look at the actual content of his posts.

I know Damdred is a totally capable player able to invest himself into a game, and yet 24 hours in all Damdred has been able to do this game is a couple of "I feel iffy" posts, one only because I prompted it. Your vote is not a bad one I have been absent for a good portion of the thread. However Sloosh your vote worries me for a few reasons. I responded a couple of times to you, and you did not interact with them much instead you just kind of dropped the subject instead of trying to see if you could get any more information out of me from my three big things. Your filter currently is a lot like Koshi, it looks a bit better however you do not draw a lot of conlusions from what you post honestly. Even your big list post you look at people and go not scum not scume, plays good scum must be watchful. Its this many hours into the game and yet you haven't taken a hard stance on anyone but put your vote down on me? If you vote me for I feel iffy posts your big list post deserves your own vote There are several things that are out of place with this post.
First is calling my vote "not bad". So he admits that his play may warrant a vote.
But then right after he says my vote is worrisome. Huh? Why say "your vote is understandable", and then immediately say "your vote is worrisome"? It is inconsistent. Then, watch this, be blames me for failing to interact with him. He blames me for not prying the information out of Damdred. It's my fault that Damdred holds valuable information, but did not pursue it. That is extremely convoluted thinking for town to make. You don't say "hey you didn't ask me for my reads, you are scum". Yet that is what Damdred does here.
Next he tells me how my play is poor, and essentially calls me a hypocrite. What he doesn't do, is call me scum. If I'm doing all these things that he accuses me of, where I "haven't taken a hard stance", then by all means he should be calling me scum! Instead he complains how my vote is on him, and complains how I should be voting myself.
This isn't town mentality. It's totally scum mentality. Because he knows I'm town, he is treating me such, even though his words betray that he wants to call me scum.

Man, yamato. I haven't had a hardon for a read like the one you game in fucking ages. That was so damn fucking sexy -- I can't get over it

Thank you for the vote of confidence. Let's pile on the votes though, I don't like where they are right now.

People need to vote Ritoky for mayor over geript. Geript is doing some stuff I don't like -- specifically, half of his sentences have grammatical errors that are painful to read and make it sound a lot like someone who is going back to revise what they were trying to originally say.
|
I would like to propose once again, that I should be the mayor. It's blatantly obvious that I'm town (no matter Rayn's alignment). I think I would have support from Sylencia, Ritoky (maybe), hopefuly Rayn, and maybe sloosh? I think I might be able to convince yamato as well, even though he's mistakenly calling me scum. Koshi's calling me town, so he shouldn't have a problem with it either.
Let's do it boys and girls? Pretty please?

Just because something is understandable does not mean it does not worry me sloosh. I can understand something and still be worried about it, for example i can understand if someone takes money from their job and throws it in their car. However it worries me becuase it could get stolen. I understand people not locking car doors sometimes but it worries me that the car might get stolen (-_-).
You asked me for three big things and followed it up with a question and I answered, but YOU did not follow up anymore. If you were really worried about what I thought you might of asked for more information. But you based your vote on that partly.
And your read list does not have any hard stances in it, your vote on me was the first hard stance you took

geript makes a read on gobbley where he points out how his meta is clear cut, but then for no reason other than what I see as a backdoor to change his read he says "But he's pretty new so I'm a little hesitant there." Because if he did the meta reads, gobbley being new or not doesn't matter. So it looks like geripts making stuff up. Am I making sense here?
Like, is he trying to call geript scum here or what?
