The one benefit of pushing a poofter mislynch on day two was that you had a rolecop check as vanilla. At least with that, you know you aren't going to run into trouble with

The communication between the two mafia teams was a bit subpar. On day two, it didn't seem like you had an endgame plan. The attempted interaction between rayn/koshi was nice, but it wasn't clear how you guys would react if either of you were to get in trouble. Artanis had the option of either going for a strong defense of rayn or a counter-claim or jumping on the anti-rayn train earlier, but he sort of sat on the sidelines and his window closed.

At some point, I wrote down that Eden was being buddied too easily, but I don't recall what exactly I was referring to and he was able to turn things around. One things that I disagreed with was how disappointed you were that you didn't take a hit. As a power role, you should be thrilled.

The players that made themselves look obvious town put the mafia team in a really tough situation at endgame. Since they decided to shoot marv/palmar rather than the clear town players or blue suspects, they really limited their options for mislynches. Good job staying active!

rayn's "notes" post was really silly. Assume you're a town player, you really need to catch up with the thread and your main objective is to locate mafia for the d2 lynch, are you really going to reread the thread without knowing the day 1 lynch and night 1 hits? He was sharing things that he found suspicious about the slam/sqrt even though they flipped town, asking questions of sqrt even though he was dead, pointing out suspicious things about Palmar, even though he was dead and defending himself a lot more than coming up with mafia reads. It definitely seemed like he was more interested in providing evidence of contributing than actually identifying the mafia team.

So what do you guys think about hydra games? The original intention was for this to be a strict newbie only game for the junior slot and to have it advertised site-wide, but that fell through and a lot of borderline players showed interested in playing as a junior so we actually had very few true newbies. Do you guys think this would be a nice newbie environment if it were hosted in place of the newbie game every 5 or 10 games or should we continue with the standard newbie only setups?
