Why slOosh is Mafia

Early on his play can be categorized as asking a lot of questions. A lot of questions. This is okay I guess, if you take his probing as a means to get reads on players. However, the problem I have is that all through his filter, ne'ry is there a read on anyone involved in the early game. He can be seen defending a couple of players...which I don't find to be particularly indicative either way, but it always seems to come with an out too so meh.

Ultimately we've got:

+- Asking a lot of early questions that don't seem to go anywhere.
+- Defending players before they can defend themselves.
- Never gives reads on players involved in early game, in spite of interacting with many of them through various questions.
- In spite of posting a fair amount, doesn't feel town

For now I want to hear what slOosh has to say before voting for him, but we'll call him my top scumread for the sake of argument.

As for other players, as always I absolutely refuse to read BH this cycle. Chez seems to be Chez, which means he'll be alive until we lynch him regardless of his alignment. I'd like to see where this Artanis/slOosh stuff goes. I'm now kinda townreading Release now that he's proven a proclivity toward verbosity in all matters. mgerg is more guilty of rehashing than Release ever was, and in a way I find to be far more scummy. I think based on his (presumably only) D1 post that he's my favorite lynch today. I find his entire post to be wishywashy and diplomatic and scummy, and considering it may be all we get from him this cycle I'm fine with lynching him.

VE is extremely backseat and content to watch the town do it's own thing, making up excuses not to give reads / do anything.

FYI: VE was town in the game you referenced. From what I've seen in his meta he's been more active and involved as both town and scum in prior games. So, is there some kind of meta analysis you've done that's determined he'd be more likely to behave like this as scum than as town?

For what it's worth I agree with sloosh that VE is another good candidate. The difference here tho is that ninja provides way more information than VE and therefore is the preferred lynch.

Let's clarify on this point: I've never said sloosh or mderg were scum so this is completely untrue.

I've had you pegged as a lurker, which isn't by any means alignment-indicative. When you post stuff about lynching BH without recognizing he's actually in the game, it shows disinterest in figuring things out. At the best you're a townie too lazy to read. But when you lie about being historically too lazy to read BH, and are wishy-washy about giving up-front reads on persons such as sloosh you're looking scummy.

I might be a little pissed here. Also, I still think he is town. So let me read a bit, and I'll try and find scum for yall and atleast leave a legacy of some kind since I'm the one getting mislynched here, but hey, that's cool. First time for everything right?

I'm still pretty skeptical ninja, but tbh that one post of reads has been more substantial than what's been said by some players here. Like still, you're looking pretty scummy given how little you've said for how much you've posted, but I'd rather not lynch you right now. Also, you are correct that just about everyone has honed in on you which while very speculative does leave me a bit uneasy.

It's pretty clear he's not interested in keeping up with this game and is spewing whatever comes off the top of his head. Not clearly scum-aligned thought process, but a clear liability. And there's also that he lied about his history, which is pretty durned scummy.

If that's how you feel, and you have VE on your scumsuspect list then I encourage you to consolidate on VE. Between Mderg and VE, he's the better candidate.

How so? If you look at Mderg's past scumgame it was nothing like this. I'm of the belief he was legit busy. Don't have a good read on him yet, but at least he's willing to play the game.

VE's reads and posting seems more genuine to me. Mderg's seems just enough to get by.
