Roles and Setup information Glory is Eternal This game will follow a 24-hour night/deadline-less day cycle. The day lasts until a majority is reached. If enough time passes without a majority being lynched, I will post in the thread and state a deadline for a no-lynch in order to prevent horrible 3-week-long days where nothing happens. If a day happens to be long but discussion is still moving, I will not do this. Night begins immediately after the flip. Glory Seekers Naive Recruit (Vanilla Townie): You grew up a farmer, never knowing battle. When your Lord Peth came through town asking for young recruits to join him on the warpath, you volunteered. You wish for nothing more than a chance to prove yourself in combat. You are a VT. Find and destroy the Bad Endings. Grizzled Veteran (BoxeR): You have seen more campaigns than most. In your years of war, you've gathered together enough knowledge and experience that the other men look to you for leadership. You are a blue with no powers. Find and destroy the Bad Endings. Hedge Knight (Parity Cop): You live for war-- without lands or nobility to call your own, you can only win glory with your blade and your horse. Years of peace have left you rusty, but you know a chance to become legendary when you see it. Each night you target someone, and you're told if the alignment of your target is the same or different as your previous target. Your N1 check doesn't return anything, but is necessary for your N2 check to work. You can't check yourself. Find and destroy the Bad Endings. Green Seer (Cop): Occasional ally to Lord Peth, you have chosen to aid him in this coming conflict. Your visions have told you of the roiling masses of goblin horde, and the endless illiteracy that would follow if they won-- a thousand years without writing. You will use your magic to divine more suitable path for Wyweria. Each night you may target someone, and you're told their alignment. You do not get to make a check during N1. Find and destroy the Bad Endings Scribe (Doctor): You are an old man, even older than when you taught Lord Peth his letters. You may not be able to predict the future or slay a man with your bare hands, but you can write down what you see, recording someone's name for all time in your Book. Such people whose names are written cannot be so easily erased by a sword. Each night, you can save someone from the nightkill. You can't protect the same player twice in a row. You can't save yourself. Find and destroy the Bad Endings. Lord Peth (1-shot Vigilante): When the beacons were lit and the warnings came down from border, you rallied your troops and rode out to do battle with the goblins. The Peths have defended the border since time immemorial and you will not be the son who drops the torch that has held back the darkness for so long. Once per game, at night, you can submit an NK on someone. You can't shoot Night 1. You can't shoot yourself. If your target is protected, you do not get the bullet back. If you are roleblocked, you DO get the bullet back. Find and destroy the Bad Endings. Town Win Condition - The town wins when there are no mafia left in the game or nothing can prevent that from happening. Bad Endings Forgotten (Mafia Goon): These ruins were once inhabited by men, but there are no written records of who they were. I wonder, what kind of people were they? It's too bad that we'll never know. You are scum. You have no special powers. Slandered (Mafia RB): It's a good thing these people died out. You might not know it to look at these ancient stones, but legend has it they ate their children in a ritual sacrifice to their dark god. How men could live like this is beyond me. You are scum. Each night, you can RB someone. You can RB and send in the factional KP in the same night if you are the last scum. The target, even if he is a VT, is notified of being roleblocked. Martyred (Mafia Godfather): He died for us, you know. He didn't do a very good job of it, but he died for us. Who? Oh, his name is lost to history-- but someone definitely died here. You are scum. You return Green to checks. Mafia Win condition - The mafia wins when there are no remaining townies or nothing can prevent that from happening. The Great Wall had stood for a thousand years since time immemorial, holding back the Monsters that lay beyond it. The greatest work of the Empire, it was all the stood between civilization and savagery. Even now as the Empire is cleaved in 3 pieces, kingdoms vying for the throne, the guardians at the wall could take no part. How many millions had died to erect this masterpiece of human creation and civilization? With so many generations of child Emperors and meddling relatives, the realm had grown weak. And now, with three would-be emperors marshalling resources for more bloody wars, things could only get worse. The mechanical barrows and repeating crossbows being developed and turned on other men were needed hear, at The Great Wall. Here, now, the battle for the Empire was taking place, and where were the reinforcements? With 9 alive it takes 5 to lynch. Make sure to bote in the voting thread! | ||
