Just remember my mafia friends, in multi-faction game historically, the faction that focused their night hits on the opposing faction were far more likely to win than those that prioritized mafia shots. I think it was something crazy like 9/10 last time I looked. The reason for this is that the top priority should be to eliminate the rival mafia kp. The town lynch cannot be eliminated until all town members are dead, but the mafia factional kp can be removed by killing off a much smaller group of players. Additionally, you can save yourself from a lynch by talking your way out, but you can't deal with a bullet that you don't know about. The opposing mafia faction can manipulate the vote based on their additional knowledge, which is much more of a threat than town, which is in the dark. Finally, claiming a scum shoot is a free pass to get out of jail if you get in trouble during the following cycle. The only time you want to start shooting obvious townies is a scenario where the mafia factions need to work together at like 8/1/1 or something.
The reason that I was looking for Heart/Spade posts is that I am somewhat paranoid about a multi-faction scum team that wins together, but is not aware of each others identities. As a result, they may need to breadcrumb their identities to the other half. Something to keep in mind at least.

I don't believe in the concept of people not being around, though. Like, I understand that a certtain % of the time people just didn't plan ahead and make time for their mafia game, but I view these things charitably and assume anyone who's AFK actually is not afk, and is really trying to decieve us.

That's not to say that a surgical solution is all bad, but given that cancer can metastasise and that removal of a larger tumor causes smaller tumors to grow, lopping off a limb is pretty dangerous.
An ideal solution is probably some kind of surgery where just the tumor is removed, coupled with chemotherapy and radiation to kill whatever's left and also anything else in the body. This leads to the best patient health outcomes.

I actually thought about that, but in a way, Cancerous almost seems more appropriate. After all, gangrene is like rotting, whereas cancer is the subversion of cells and tissues that were doing good into bloated tumors that are bad for you and just consume resources and post huge filters of meaninglessness.

You are 100% correct. However in a multi-faction game, pursuing a read genuinely is not a town-tell.
Had he contributed at all to discussion out side of Bunnies (hell had he did anything outside of tunneling a single person), I might think differently of his play. But he didn't.
