First off, thank you fecalfeast for providing this timer to us, the effort you put in, is truly appreciated. In a stressful situation, when people are tense and emotions are in charge (like a close game of mafia shortly before deadline) I think adding a countdown will increase pressure on people and inevitablly lead to yelling, name calling and insults. Which is the opposite of what debate and interaction in these games need. Comparing the benefit, not having to look at a clock mere centimeters away from the timer, and figuring out how long until deadline, to an increase in toxicity of interaction due to the added stress, is not worth it in my opinion. Again I want to point out that making peoples lives easier is a good thing, but the potential downsides outweigh the benefit in this case. Fefe you're doing a great job breathing more life into tl mafia community and I alpreciate you d a lot for it! | ||
