Not really, Homeworld is like managing one small fleet.+ Show Spoiler +Freaking amazing game though if anyone hasn't tried it. Loved the original though. I think Cataclysm was my fav of the series. It's too bad they lost the original software or w/e for that so they couldn't touch it for the recent remasters.
Stellaris is more like starting and running a galactic empire. The fighting is more just you watching your ships do their thing, not giving tons of in the moment commands. Focus is more on expanding your empires territory via diplomacy or aggression.
So more like a Civ game, or Sins of a Solar Empire.
At least thats my understanding from what I've read and looked into. I'd be into this type of game but I'll hold out till its dropped in price in a year or so. Too much of a game backlog already... I just recently decided to finally give Dark Souls a spin (the first game)

Dota players - anybody buying the new compendium (the TI battlepass)? Curious...

I'll but the cheap one 100%. Always amazing these compendiums. Last one was really good. Maybe because the last one was so good I might buy the big one this time. But I'll inform myself if it is "worth it". I probably wont.

I think Mafiascum is down. This could be our chance, TL!

GUYs,
I have noticed lately after returning to Liquidia after being gone for a prolong time that this town is lacking it's core. What made this town thrive? It was the liquid. This town is now a desert with few around. At this rate, I'm concerned that it may become a ghost town if nothing is done. There are messages left on some of the buildings from some missing inhabitants saying they couldn't stand being in this town. The infamous "eh" heard throughout the town has marked the pain of the member's soul.
I come here not just to point out this issue, but to bring a solution! yes, I have a liquid solution! We shall revive this town! If we build up this town, they will come! I will work on building up the brown town with my presence. In case people will think about leaving, I will build a wall! A wall to keep and a wall to attract. They will see our wall and want to dwell in our protection! This will be huge! We can harness the liquid on our walls that will flow to new life.
Let's make Liquidia Liquid again!

I agree with Chezinu. I think we should take into consideration what made TL Mafia so great. I think the involvement of other mafia sites has taken many of our members. We have lost our influx of new players from the teamliquid. We use to have TL moderators that helped us recruit new members to the site. Once that ended, we would post on the general forum to gain more members. Then we started pooling from other mafia sites. That last move which help us gain members at first is now hurting our player economy. I support Chezinu because I believe he can bring back our player economy. I heard he possessed a lot of players in the past. He can definitely supply us with more players.

Can we really trust someone who has played on many accounts? Does being good at accounting make you the best choice for a leader to fix our player economy?

yeah, I heard this guy was crazy. I know some people that hangout in the TL Mafia IRC chat that say he talks to himself all the time and logs in with different names all the time. You can always tell it's him by his IP address or by the way he talks.

Thank Brown! We a thriving community again. Just know my followers that this is just the beginning. Remember when you play, you never know who is brown. They hide their identities and cheer on the Chez. But little do you know, you may be conforming to honoring the Chez through manipulation... NAH!!! Just kidding. People really do love the Chez. Haz you see that video mafia of the Chez and all them people that like the Chez?
Oh you haven't seen the Chez? The first to mention voice Mafia on this forum? It's been years and only few have seen his face. Perhaps the unveiling of the Chez will increase our numbers? Or will it disillusion the Art of Chez?

Trust me. When it comes to Chez, sanity isn't really an option. That, or he is extremely lonely with no one to talk to and uses the IRC as a coping mechanism. But then again... doesn't isolation cause insanity?

Do we have any moderators for TL Mafia anymore? If so, do they ever read this sub forum? Like serious, I know we should respect veterans and everything, but how common is it for veterans to have multiple accounts? I know some make smurf accounts so they can play with different metas. But if most people on this site have multiple counts, doesn't that inflate our player economy? What happens when the veteran players with multiple accounts decide to leave TL Mafia for a brief or to think the unthinkable permanently? Wouldn't that cause the player economy bubble to collapse? This inflation cannot be good.

I think you are taking this too seriously. I doubt there will be another bubble. The player bubble is too big to collapse. We are just in a recession. As for the moderators, we do have some. We got a new one recently, but I don't recall his/her username. I do see your point how the moderators don't frequent our sub forum as much as they had in the past. Veterans having multiple accounts in mafia is kind of a necessary. If you want to set regulation on controlling the inflation, then I would agree with you on that point. But to stop it completely, would be unwise and may cause riots with unhappy veterans. They may even leave the forum to go to other sites.

Chezinu will never leave TL Mafia! Unless it is to expand the brown TL empire! I have left the cave in the past and Chezinu still rules in foreign lands! I have lost many friends sense I dwelled here. But I believe Legendary is still out there... Artanis is still here. The Great LACES and Caller will always be in my memories.
