If we set out concrete picks too far down the line then scum have an opportunity to ensure strong players roll vt. There are a select number of champs who will be beneficial if everyone knows who has them. Beyond that, claiming your role leaves you vulnerable. Is giving town more information worth the risk of scum having that same information? I don't think so in most cases. | ||

Its been proposed in some way in almost every pyp if not every pyp game. I think going past the top 10 is stretching what you can expect people to follow. Take for example bumatlarge's list of proactive green champs (Jarvan, Lux, Taric, Karma, Galio, Orianna, Syndra) and notice they're all protective champs. But other champs that don't seem to be that useful as listed like Soraka could easily have an additional ability to mass heal or even just heal. In addition to the roleblock ability, that could easily become a priority pick to have. Also, some champs that don't necessarily seem deadly at first glance like Twitch could turn out to have some ridiculous second ability like who knows? Stealth and ability to hit everyone up to a certain range away? It's possible, and it's something to potentially ponder. You could easily end up assigning someone a role and that can turn to bite you in the ass because you don't have complete information on what that role can do. | ||
