I agree with StorrZerg on the motion of lynching lurkers. Lurkers are as bad if not worse than a mafia player in my opinion since a talkative mafia can give away reads or slip up while lurkers give nothing of use to the town.

I agree. Whenever people aren't posting at all it (obviously) makes them unreadable, and they tend to slip by without actually contributing/playing the game. It doesn't necessarily make them scum, but it's definitely a pain to play with lol. I haven't looked at where people are from at all; are most of us going to be around near the deadline?

I'm hope we are luckier with the lurkers this game (as in there are few or none), the last couple times the lurkers have just ended up being town players that didn't have much time to commit to the game :/

Majority lynch is different from the last couple games too. I agree though, it's going to require us to stay active since getting a group consensus is actually more important this time around.

Let's keep the pace of the game up too, none of that long post bullshit unless you need to address a lot of points. Short and to the point high in content. Fast-paced posting makes it hard for scum to clearly think through what is going on and it makes it easier to find lurkers. And yes, lynch lurkers.

Hopefully lynching lurkers doesn't become an issue. I should be around near every voting deadline and in the afternoons and late nights MST. The player's good intentions to have a fun game will prevail (or the bold warning in the OP).

I mean, he's sorta right. I think the last couple games have been bogged down by people posting novels and everyone assuming longer posts equaled more accurate content. There's nothing wrong with a long post if it's warranted, but people need to realize short and concise posts can be just as useful.

from my last 2 games where I was scum, this is just fact, at least for me... as soon as someone stepped in and the pace increased (and thus smaller posts) it became harder for me and my teammates to make clear posts and increased the chances of slips... it does increase the likelihood for mafia to lurk, which is what my teammates ended up doing because they couldn't keep up with the pace

look at all the non-newb games they are mostly quick fire posts with occasional long posts, this is clearly the better way to play IMO. regardles, waste of time to talk about we should just do it.. gogo

Balla played in nmm48 with me. As I said earlier, the participation in that game was horrendous. The game ended with 54 pages of content.

Storr's post seems to be just trying to randomly add suspicion on Balla. There's no justification behind it, only a weak suggestion that the post might be bad somehow. Almost like he's hoping for someone else to jump in and find a reason to get Balla lynched.

You seem very defensive of Balla, especially since nothing of importance has been given by anybody as of yet. I think pressuring people to talk is a good thing on the start of Day 1 since nobody is confirmed (apart from Obzy ofc).
