granted ron trades for candy so I guess that's not the best objection but like the main point of ron's character isn't his flipping love of gosh-darned candy. there's like so many other things about his character. that's like deciding the main thing about mad-eye moody is that he's friends with dumbledore rather than that he's a flipping paranoid guy or that he has a false eye
