Mercury Lighthouse near the town of Imil always had a solemn atmosphere around it. Today however that tranquility was broken. Having a head start the Proxians managed to reach the aerie first and ignited Mercury for the first time since the Lost Age of Alchemy. But right after the ignition the Protectors of Weyard finally caught up with their targets. Surprised at Isaac's survival through the mayhem that was the Mt.Aleph eruption, the Proxians decide to dispatch of the meddlers, permanently. Who else could be better suited for this task than their party's resident Mercury Adept Alex? And so brutal and terrible battle was joined. Alex single-handily took on all the Protectors of Weyard at the same time, while his comrades made their escape, on to the next lighthouse. Energized by the unending power emanating from the Mercury Beacon behind him Alex unleashed an avalanche of aquatic attacks. But Isaac and his friends held firm, stood their ground and slowly edged out of their defensive posture. Not expecting such stiff resistance Alex' usual unreadable demeanor changed, he seemed startled, surprised even. That was all it took for the Protectors of Weyard to break through his defenses and fell him. "How undignified.....and how shameful..." With those last words the traitor to the Mercury clan, slumped over into a puddle of red blood. Old Partner as Alex, the enigmatic Mercury adept was lynched! + Show Spoiler [Role PM] + You are Alex, the enigmatic Mercury adept, who betrayed his order in pursuit of his own mysterious goals. You have allied up with Saturos and Menardi and can be considered as the mastermind behind your party's actions. Always smiling and unimposing you are never considered as a real enemy by Isaac's party, although clashes have been unavoidable sometimes. Due to your ambiguous nature however, it is difficult to grasp what your real motives are. You are immune to nightchecks in regards of your alignment and will return as Protector of Weyard to anyone who investigates you. Your Teammates are: Some Proxians.
