We have lots of roles to work with. We could add VT, subtract blues, give scum more power roles, etc. I'm sure it can be made to work. Syl, your take? Yes. They give two people a confirmed townie to share thoughts and discuss the game with. Which may not seem like a lot but is actually a huge advantage. | ||

It's not really something I'd want to do though, especially because rebalancing based on a hydra would require you do make assumptions about the hydra's skills I believe. If Firm is going in alone, all is well for now, but if there are any other strong opinions on the issue, I'd love to hear them too since I'm a newbie host. | ||

If the hydra rolls town: 1) two heads is better than 1 when trying to figure the game out 2) it's much easier to read a hydra, whether the interaction/posting of the two heads is natural If the hydra rolls mafia: 1) two heads is infinitely worse than 1 in trying to deceive 2) it's much easier to read a hydra, and spot the dissonance between heads After Artanis' Hydra 1 (7/2 split) I specifically recommended to Artanis to rebalance it a bit to 8/3 instead, and town still won incredibly easily in Hydra 2. | ||
