They give two people a confirmed townie to share thoughts and discuss the game with. Which may not seem like a lot but is actually a huge advantage. | ||

It's not really something I'd want to do though, especially because rebalancing based on a hydra would require you do make assumptions about the hydra's skills I believe. If Firm is going in alone, all is well for now, but if there are any other strong opinions on the issue, I'd love to hear them too since I'm a newbie host. | ||

If the hydra rolls town: 1) two heads is better than 1 when trying to figure the game out 2) it's much easier to read a hydra, whether the interaction/posting of the two heads is natural If the hydra rolls mafia: 1) two heads is infinitely worse than 1 in trying to deceive 2) it's much easier to read a hydra, and spot the dissonance between heads After Artanis' Hydra 1 (7/2 split) I specifically recommended to Artanis to rebalance it a bit to 8/3 instead, and town still won incredibly easily in Hydra 2. | ||
