Well, VA is, well, kinda joking around and posted and acrostic saying "I AM NOT SCUM". Was it worth his time? No. Was it useful to town? No. Is it a scumtell? I don't really see why. The fact that he wrote "i am not scum" rather than "i am town" isn't like a scumslip or anything, that's just how he chose to phrase it. Cephiro is going all lou ferrigno on this guy for phrasing his claim to be town differently. This isn't overzealous townie, this is someone trying to play overzealous townie. overzealous townies cling to hard to certain pieces of evidence, go over the top, and push/tunnel hard, but almost always these pieces of evidence are pieces of evidence that make sense. Cephiro doesn't make sense. The fact that he is loud, or that he tried pushing a relatively defenseless player (geript) should not be mitigating factors. As for Felkyr, he's new. That doesn't affect what role he was given, but it does affect how I read him (in that I have no idea how to). As of now I'm null on him, because I could see a newbie of any alignment posting like he has. He's apparently an unlynchable, multi-use day cop XD All of that aside, he has all of these scumreads but isn't pushing them. He seems to have some agenda, so I'd say not town, but I also don't see what scum geript has to gain from basically trying to get himself lynched. I also never played either portal for more than 5 mins, and its been a very long time since I last knew who Black Mesa was. it is thus a net win to tell any townies who dont know(me) the most important stuff from the last games. So from my point of view anyone pointing out obvious important thematic stuff from aperture games, portal or ... is fine with me. if that offends some players put it in spoiler tagged to the end of useful post. ta. | ||
