its because when i made those reads they weren't real reads, just hunches backed up by no research. so they changed very easily because I didn't believe in them that strongly. my reasons were feels so really there is not much to explain.

its fucking obvious you are town. your level of tryhard at this point in the game is completely unnecessary for scum. if you were scum you would not be as active as you are being because there's no point. you will already have won.

I don't get how I can prove I'm town to you. I can't elaborate on reasons that I didn't have.

So even if tryhard shouldn't be considered a towntell, it's still good enough for you to consider me town? And since you didn't actually have a reason to do any of the stuff you did this game, you expect me to just take a leap of faith and believe that you must be town because why not?

There are different kinds of tryhard. 3 players, 3 very different breeds of tryhard:

You tryinghard ATM is a huge towntell because if you were scum you would not need to tryhard to win.

PT is tryharding to appease you, carefully answering all your questions without trying to convince you of anything or engaging in conversation with you.

I may be lazy so I'm not writing long shit, but I am tryharding to convince you to vote PT because a town win is so close but it all relies on your decision.

Let me give you my mindstate throughout the game.
Early game:
I was hella busy. Holy shit this town is uber tryhard and awesome. i really don't have anything of value to add with my limited time.

Mid game:
K town started sucking. I am totally going to put some time into this game, find the scumteam and impress everyone. After the game I'm going to be so proud to say who I really am and everyone will love me.

After the HW mislynch:
fuck i was wrong about everything. I suck. fuck this crapshoot of a game. fml

Now:
wow despite all my retardation town can still win.

There's a lot of good arguments for lynching PT. His attitude today seems off, he seems too concerned with "proving" you're scum despite it being the obvious, ie: his stuff us complicated beyond what I'd expect people to do. He's fully complying with whatever request I make for him without engaging in a flowing discussion with me.

Plenty of townies have thought he was scum throughout the game, JP was so sure that he was scum I lynched him for being too certain. Davison thought PT was scum, so did Tom.

So please, keep spamming everything that comes to mind, especially regarding yourself. Explain every little detail you have. Explain your flipping around on day 1 (from PT to DrT) explain why you supported whatever lynches you did support.

Also, I should probably lynch PT because he's a replacement. I can't read replacements because they get to skip day 1. Day 1 is the most important day of mafia, it's an enormous advantage for scum to replace in and not have to be held accountable for whatever the previous incarnation of the player was doing. It should be almost impossible to lose for scum with no investigative roles and a day 2 replacement in on the team.

Day 1 solves the game. Skipping it is like giving mafia free win.

When i read the case against PT, I didn't realize that he only had that one rp post. I thought the quotes in the case were from multiple PT posts. When I realized, I decided it wasn't a good idea to vote for him just for that one post.

I thought DrT was town for a long time d1. Why? probably because im bad lol. It's just his behavior didn't match my overly narrow d1 scum criteria (dont give opinions, say as little as possible, stay out of the spotlight).
I remember the exact moment I changed my mind about DrT and proceeded to vote for him. I read Iforgetwhoseitwas summary of the case against DrT. I actually took a long time to read it very carefully, and understand the points it made. AND I also read DrT's filter closely. And I read the posts he was responding to closely. (That's how I determined his defense was quite exaggerated and unnecessary. (he wasn't even calling DrT scum). This is the second (well third, if you are counting the lylo groveling stage) most effort I put into this game.

how good of a player I think I am is determined by how correct my reads have been in the past few games.
my recent awareness of my own badness stems from being very wrong about this game.
At that point I honestly thought I had 100% solved the game.

I had reasons for thinking ecc was scum. In fact I couldn't stfu about it. I think the one that convinced you was how he quotes vers town guide.
In retrospect, dumb reasons.

My cases are clouded by the fact that I think H3 is terrible at this game and should have been voted the day of the Tom lynch because at least Tom made some sense and had moral fucking fiber. You have all my thoughts. Your rules state you don't want to accept any new information, so I have nothing left to add. You wanted to be conned and H3 has apparently done that; I'm not going to waste my time undoing the damage he has done, if you're willing to side with the rectum and you can't read me without a day one played meaning you will never trust me fully, then maybe you're doing the right thing even if it's wrong. I can accept that. You have some kind of principles and you're sticking to them. Good on you. Game ends today anyway.

It's been fun replacing in for someone I didn't know, into a game I had not read, with people whose identities I can't be sure of, where meta has no huge impact on the game. It's like playing on a new forum. Can't say I would do it again, though, given the huge handicap it put me in that, as far as I was aware, I had clawed myself out. My supporters are all dead. I missed almost three whole game days given the predecessor's actions and the weekend wedding I went to. If you want to blame me for shit that's literally out of my own control then, again, that's your thing.

And if you think getting pissed at H3 is anything other than genuine....
