anyways
/obs you just gotta pm me, I'm always here for you bro. I still talk to many of my newbies in grown up games. Feel free to help whenever. Scum is free to pm me, they just have to remember that at some point I will know who they are and will send them terrible blue advice. Usually we assume an honour system that reds don't pm the town coach and green/blues don't pm the scum coach. It's ok. The only thing I learned from my past 3 NMM's is that being town is hard and being scum is actually fun. Too bad hiro doesn't take role requests...for less than how much money? Wait, really? That's not what I've heard. Guess maybe it depends on your own game and who you play with. For instance I have it on good authority that playing scum in LIX was not fun

I enjoy scum but it seems to be a minority here that do.
I like it cos it suits my weak reads and tendency to bullshit.
Weird cos in games I prefer always being to good guys lol

The problem with town is that you need to get everyone on the same page and that can be hard to do especially when some people put in minimal/no effort.
|
There are very few vets on TL who prefer scum (possibly none actually). Mostly we play the game to catch scum and feel good about ourselves for good analysis. I think the better you get at the game the harder it is to enjoy scum because it is harder to play well. For instance my first newbie game I rolled red and I had a great time, no one expected anything of me. Now if I roll red I have a town meta to match, I'll be expected to not be an idiot and possibly catch scum. As one of the guides mentions playing scum is convincing town that you are a bad townie and that gets harder and harder the better you get at the game.

gotta lead dem lurkers. that's part of being a town leader.

@Prome... You said you could help me pick up women. Am I supposed to lift them up by their hair to carry them to my den or am I supposed to use my club to knock them out and carry them over my shoulder? I can never seem to make the right choice with that on the right woman. Your moderate level advice is requested.

I would like to request to add a second scum team into the game so I can coach them.

I suggest surprising them with your manly muscles and dead lifting them above your head and running home with them thus suspended above your head, having a manly beard helps here. I have a 100% success rate with this method.
|
Has said method been used at all by you though? Also was said method preceded by paying said female for such services?
|
Uh, I've used it twice. And no, I can't afford to buy women.

Just to let you know, 0/0 is 100% as well...

I prefer the dexter style injection to neck.
Makes the pick up easier due to less struggle.
Then u get the saw effect of them waking up in a maze...yikes I am a scummy bastard

Ace is an excellent scum player and a decent town player. No clue what he prefers, but he pretty much wrote the book on how to play scum.
I'm not sure what Marv prefers, but I'm willing to bet he doesn't dislike playing scum.
Toad and VE are both batshit insane regardless of alignment, which makes them completely unpredictable. There was a time that both said they enjoyed scum more than town, but that may have changed.
I wouldn't put myself in that list, but I enjoy playing scum. It requires less puzzling and agonizing over the game, while requiring more from your acting skills.
Not everybody is Sandro, Syllo or Palmar

I am interested GreY, why?
Acro: I can promise you marv prefers town. I can't speak for VE or Toad though. I hardly count ace anymore, he doesn't play anymore.

Infested Arbiter? :D

I enjoy the planning aspect of it, You can ask iGrok, Crossfire, Artanis, or anyone that I have been on a team with recently. I like that aspect of playing the game a lot more. I am a lot more calm and collected when I'm playing as scum.
