Did you read my explanation of that? Because I'm running for mayor, I'm using the lynch to try and pressure people for contribution. And in the case of OO it seems to have worked because he's tried to (from my perspective) feign contribution since. I'll admit that the more in agreement we all seem to be re: Prom, the more likely I am to lynch another of my reads - which is why I've been advocating DocH for mayor lately - but Toad specifically called it "waffling" twice...in a manner that seems to be specifically designed to anger me. He knows Mayoral strategy, he knows the power of the threat of lynch. For this reason, I think it was NOT supposed to be just an observation of my lynch preference, and WAS supposed to be discrediting me.

But see that's the issue...if Toad (like most of us) actually wants Prom lynched then despite the 'threat of lynch' he can't be sure if what you're saying is just pressure or whether you actually are going to change your mind. Even I can't tell now that you've said you're more likely to lynch someone else. Is it just for pressure or are you gonna flip things on us? WIFOM.
If you're serious about not wanting to lynch Prom anymore you need to seriously let everyone know who is voting for you based on that premise.

Nonono, I think Prom is a spectacular lynch - and I'll be put to a choice for sure...and to be honest I'm far more likely to lynch Prom than someone of my choosing. WF had it right though, that might change the closer we get to the lynch.
I promise that if I start getting that itch to lynch someone other than Prom, I'll tell the thread. As it stands now though, he's the lynch.

Vivax was lashing out hardcore. DrH, the last game he was town in was Themed Game Mafia (if you're looking to check in on him, as you said you might). You'll notice he and I were butting heads towards the end of the game. His attitude this game seems far more aggressive and illogical to me, and he is looking scummier each time he lashes out.

Because there are conflicting reads imo; I actually like many of your posts as I can follow them and see where your head is at an a general direction. I'm just not sold that I'm not being played. In the case of conflicting reads I want more information so I can make a better informed decision and I want to try and remove any confirmation bias.

Thinking about it in these circumstances, geript's idea doesn't seem entirely crazy anymore. Not sure if I'm going insane.
Since we plan on killing prom (this more directed at DrH since he is dead set on prom dying while VE has left room for different opinions), what is the biggest reason for not putting prom into pardoner position?
DrH, since you'd be killing him, do you have any qualms about shooting prom and getting rid of pardoner simultaneously?

At night, someone must be shoot. You cannot stop this. If you know you have uncontrollable problems. Please, contact your local doctor and have him protect you victims. Better yet, just let the whole thread know who to protect. It worked wonders in the last game I was in.
Lets talk about something interesting. Let's talk roles. There are a lot of possible guns in this wasteland. That means we need to expect a high mortality rate. However, to counterbalance this we have Docs and Armor. The one with the right equipment will be able to link strangers from far away. I must presume with the lack of guards that our protect is hidden. I propose a plan that my falter, but it could aid in our survival if successful. The protector found in 1-12 shall save the mayor. The other the Pardoner. Or perhaps the subjects for protection is up to debate. As the formation of DT check lists. If we plan ahead, our dreams of living tomorrow may prosper.

I'm generally an advocate of doctors protecting their biggest town-read/person most likely to be shot to them. Playing WIFOM games with scum is a bad idea because scum have more info, and therefor are better at WIFOMing than we are.
Chez you never answered my question (to my knowledge) and you're still not looking for scum. I know you're capable if you're town, verily you enjoy doing so. Why are you not doing this thing now? I summoned you here to help me rid the world of darkness, not theorize about power roles.

Hmm...apparently I'm a huge dumbass and I'm not sure why I still thought you weren't responding. Still going to attribute that to not sleeping. The lynching of the pardoner is definitely not Geript's idea and it's been brought up a few times throughout the day but it was dismissed earlier as 'not possible.' Why is it now all of a sudden likely?
As for Chezinu, I have no idea how to respond to your post, and your entry into the thread regarding protection and rolehunting is just so much shit.

I remember this plan from somewhere. Obviously it has its flaws:
We have no medics at all. Happens, but oh well.
We have one medic. Obviously only one person ends up being protected.
We have both medics in 1-12 or 13-25, only one person ends up being protected, this is not such a bad outcome given that person is going to be alive for sure.
Then, it gives too much information for Mafia if executed. Mayor did not die? Well, I guess we have a medic in 1-12. Doublestacked the Pardoner and guy is still standing? Yeah, double in 13-25.
It is obviously WIFOM, but it might be a disaster waiting to happen if scum team figure the truth out.
Medic save at your own discretion. Usually people save vets, strong town reads who are present in the thread or elected roles. Just do whatever you fancy.
