Granted that's not always the case (see Mayors who actually lynch scum), but in general I like keeping as much power in town hands as possible without arbitrarily distributing it to people we already deem are scummy every day. | ||

Or someone refuses to duel, and we have a Likely Townie step in the duel the person who refuses? Etc, etc. When it gets to day 6 or something, and you've never had to actually back up your opinion on how you would handle the dueling, you can still say "But look guys, I'm town because I had a unique idea day 1 even though it didn't actually mean anything and I never had to put it into practice!" Do you not see how that could be beneficial for scum? | ||

I'd appreciate it if someone could look at my points about Adam and give some comments other than "lol bad". Tell me why. Maybe I'm just paranoid. I mean, at least he did take some kind of stance, and he's right, it was against the grain and I would normally give a few townie points for that. I'm just failing to see how, in this particular instance, his stance is beneficial to town, because I can't really predict any scenario in which he'll have to back it up. | ||

The situation reminds me a lot of GSL 3 (i think?). I saw something that I genuinely viewed as scummy and brought it to the thread. I took a lot of flak for it, but the difference is people were willing to discuss it with me while they were calling me scum. And as I talked it out more, and got some other perspective views, I changed my read. | ||

I just wanted to apologize to everyone for my (lack of) play. I just got super busy with a random job where i was working long ass days and not getting home until 7-8 pm and I was exhausted. It was so hard to try to catch up on 30-50 pages and try to come up with relevant thoughts  I definitely had some ideas that I wanted to push, but I just didn't have time/energy to do it.
