As scum in a 9 player game, you HAVE to play differently than you would in a game with more teammates. You can't afford to be associated with your partner, because if either of you ever flip, its basically game over.
Actually, a strong strategy, if you can pull it off ofc, is to soft associate yourself with a townie that will probably survive until end-game.
