Thanks! Unfortunately, I probably wouldn't be able to make any lynch deadlines for the next month and a half (as in, not present for 4 hours either side), and missing them all is really annoying. I'd also have to spend every one of my few free moments playing Mafia for an entire week like I did in XXXI, and I don't think I could do that again. I'll be back on Valentine's Day

Sorry about this rather late post, I've been on planes for the last few days. It has been a real horror show and most of my personal belongings are still in Newark.

First of all congratulations to town, well played by many of you. This was a thread with a lot of excellent newbies in it and, what really stood out to me is that you all made the effort. too often newbie games are scarred by lurkers and others who do not have the mafia fever, this one though was well played.

cDgCorazon was the clear scum mvp despite his abysmal day one start and his less than stellar claim at the end. Scum on TL often forget how useful simply being involved can be and I'd like all of you to take note of what would have happened to this town if either FatChuck or Kickstart had put as much energy into their roles as Cora did.

Town: the main things you have to realize and learn from this game are
1) Never make connection cases before a flip
there isn't much to add to this one, you just really need to not do this. Connections cases pre-flip will always lead you astray.
2) People who say things about how something will affect their image is often scum.
3) A townie's greatest job is not to scum hunt, it is to be obviously town and remove oneself from the hunt of others. See NMM XXX for a really great example of a scum team that was fucked not by strong scum hunting but by a group of townies who all made their mindset and alignment abundantly clear in the thread.

A big shout out to my co-hosts Dandel Ion and marvellosity I couldn't ask for anything better, both helped me a great deal during this past week when I was traveling a ton.
Another big shout out to our coaches, Hapa and Dibbers on the town side and the never ending chain of DarthPunk, Gonzaw and Kitaman special thanks to both Gonzaw and Kita for stepping in on no notice at all.

I didn't expect this game to be over yet so I don't really have analysis written. I will update with more later though.

That's why shooting yamato was such a good move, mainly.

Everybody that was there day1, convinced themselves that Corazon was town.
Confirmation bias goes both ways, only if it's on townreads, nobody ever complains

Yamato did NOT experience day1 live (playing and just reading are very different), so he would have caught on pretty fast, I'm sure.
