He pretty much soft-claimed cop. If I were you, I may have counter-claimed and went after Sideni...
But there was like, NO way Sideni was scum.
He's not the best at logic and shit, so we can only speculate until he explains this.

You knew Shady was scum but not Promo was.
I was pretty sure he was claiming. And even when people acknowledged that Sideni was probably the detective, Sideni did not clarify that he was just a VT. I don't get it...
It is true that he didn't understand how the role worked, which does not eliminate the chance that scum Sideni pretending to be the cop.

I am a vanilla townie. That's a bit too general. I can offer some vague advice though: Step 1 is to vote your top scumread, and explain why to the thread. Now that you’re voting, what to do to further your contribution to the town, I wonder? It’s really simple: you need to strengthen your read. You almost certainly aren’t immediately convinced someone is 100% scum. No, rather, you’re far more likely to have a weak—at best—read. How do you further that read? You think someone is scum. (Alternatively, you have formed an opinion that someone is town, and you believe it is important enough to mention in-thread.) I hate to assign hard percentages to the concept, but because I figure you probably want some, let’s just say You’re more than 33% sure they’re scum, but not more than 80%. You want to draw attention to them. You vote them, (or support them if you think they’re town) and at this stage, you most likely explain why you have that opinion. Note that you don’t have to explain the opinion in order to express it. Even a one-liner, even a question…they’re your statements on a subject, even if they’re not fully visible. If you ask someone “Why did you do X?”, it’s not that hard to form the conclusion that you find X to be a questionable activity, something worthy of scrutiny, and almost always, at least slightly suspicious—yet you might not ever say you find X to be suspicious. Essentially, anything you decide to post is meant to draw attention to that player, and express your opinion on them, be it that they’re town, or that they’re scum. The latter is more likely than the former. (You tend not to need to want to draw attention to a player you think is town, though there are situations where you will.) They will be forced to react, generating new information. With that additional information, your read will either be strengthened, or weakened. And from there, you will be capable of forming a more solid opinion on a matter, which is a good thing.

Promo claimed medic lol - he had to be scum. Therefore I concluded that Sideni didn't know what he was doing.

No, you gave me a long, generic response (you probably copied and pasted from your previous coaching conversations ) regarding how to outline a case.

Well your question was like "how do I scumhunt" ;_; so yeah but apparently it didn't matter cause somehow the scumteam really collapsed this game. I guess time for some postgame analysissss

inactivity of the scum team gg

Technically though, there could have been a medic. Promo's breadcrumb was untimely though and he gave up too easily to be town. So he was likely to be mafia. I just don't understand what Sideni was doing... As a cop, I would have gone after Sideni and killed a confused VT... lol

On that subject, incredibly sick activity by the town closer to lynch deadline. We would have not won the way we did if it weren't for the activity of Lvdr, Dandel Ion, iamperfection, Sideni, and Kronen. Fantastic play guys - especially Dandel Ion and Lvdr for sensing that something was wrong about the lynch candidates!

Got to be careful when you ask vague questions it sometimes leads to trouble...........

FYI Hapa, I left the game because I didn't want to play versus you.
Scum QT
Basically, I could google the scum QT, so I thought you were cheating by spying on our QT. That's why I left.
|
Unfortunately, I don't think I can lay down my suspicions to play with you in the future.

thats quite the claim with little proof

I was just talking to Marv about that on IRC actually. Just want to say that I did not google your QT - I had no idea they were even searchable. I also had a red check on you N1, hence my sudden shift in suspicion. I hope you trust me enough to play a game with me in the future =(
However, QT's should not normally be searchable in google. For example, if you search my name (site:quicktopic.com Hapahauli), my scum game from Newbie XXI won't come up. If the host makes the QT private, it is not google searchable. Or so the internet tells me anyway.

gk had you pegged as blue from your first post props to him.

Yeah that was sick by GK lol

I would be extremely hesitant to accuse someone of cheating just because you lost rather handily. This happens sometimes.
I think quicktopics by default are private, I have no idea why that one is searchable.
