My play: it was terrible, and non-committal, so much less than I am capable of. Apologies to everyone involved, I was hit by the RL stick and couldn't put into this the time that it deserved. If I had worked hard in PM land perhaps we would've stood a chance, but as it stood I just did bad. My apologies to Coagulation, for me overracting and being a pissy loser in Scum QT. Scum team play: WBG infiltrated early and had established a pretty nice position, but the rest of the scum team was woefully left out of the PM circle. It was easy for Sandroba to consider everyone who claimed to him town, and to fire into the people remaining. Most of the scum team were pretty helpless throughout the game. Town play: usual mixed bag of good and bad. the town environment was really really terrible TBH until VisceraEyes joined the game. This let people like Node or prplhz, who never did anything scummy per se, to be potential mislynch candidates, simply because nobody in the town was talking. Sandroba's plan was very powerful, but it could've derailed if the thread never got moving. The chance of it being derailed was very very very very low, admittedly, but as it stands, the stranglehold of town was troublesome. The shot on Ace was senseless, to be perfectly honest. Sandroba even said in PMs "the shots aren't very powerful, that rules out dangerous scum players like Ace", yet he shot anyways. Don't get it. talismania gets a shout out for best newbie, good standard town play. Overall, this game was won through blue powers (all but 1 of the scum players were shot by blues), not by analysis at all. The setup: I liked the flavor, and scum ended up winning the 2nd puzzle (answer: ventriloquist), which prevented destroyed items from being ressurected. The aliens had varied and intersting powers, but it was hard to justify using them over just using KP to shoot people (using powers deducted some of our KP). The fact that items can be traded meant that it was easier to confirm players; as soon as syllogism asked WBG to hand over his fake medic gun, WBG was outted. Also, half of the scum team was inexperienced with PM games, which meant that PMs strongly favored town. Overall, the concept of items and stealing and stuff was pretty interesting, and town took advantage of that by forcing claims left and right. Alien having a medic power. we knew l10f and coag were totally going to get shot in the face, but we had no way to stop it. Nerf the alien powers a bit, and let us start with an item or two. Like have the Alien Overlord start with an Exo-skeleton, and the Alien "medic" start with a syringe. Then we can take part in the item trade game. Don't allow guns to be refilled. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but did risk.nuke start with one bullet, use it on ace, then get it refilled and he used it again on WBG? Once risk.nuke and GM became trusted townies, they had a consistent 2nd KP rolling. Pretty crazy. | ||

Real bad play i should have got all scum day 1 instead of day 3 for it to be good. I also never threatened to shoot VE. I questioned to get a read and that was terrible play also cuz I should have known VE was town by default obviously. are you always this arrogant and petulant? just let it go | ||
