I'm support GMarshal for Mayor, as he looks/is: 1. Most transparent, will tell us Captain's abilities if it will benefit town 2. Likely to take in input from players but ultimately make his own choice 3. RF states a lot of the ideas that have been floating around regarding captain, but didn't actually really say what HE thinks on the matter? He doesn't say whether he wants captain to be transparent or secretive, just that captain should "make that call". Also waffly when saying "I think captain should call lynch", but "maybe not cuz uhh hurr". Seems indecisive, just talking about said topic to talk about it. 2. Says I'll run for captain if you want me to, but I'm bad at making reads so I shouldn't be captain. ??? What is the point of saying this? Seems odd. For the vets who are planning on playing this game purely through PMs or whatever: discussing/developing reads through PMs in such a medium is definitely better for town (less chance of manipulation by scum), but when making decisions like voting for mayor, calling someone scum, it would be appreciated if the decision making process is clearly articulated. There are a lot of newbies in this game (myself included) who are thinking "wtf all the vets are trolling doing shit", and while it has come to my attn that PM games often end up like this, if you want the myriad of newbies to be useful and not just a pack of lurky doods with not enough content to deduce alignment. | ||

MrZentor I don't agree with a MrZentor lynch. Something that lot of the vets seem to be ignoring is the possibility of newbies just play suboptimally, and so they just call everything that is bad scummy. MrZentor legitimately made it seem like he wanted the mayoral positions in these posts. While I don't think his platform is good at all (the whole democratic jazz), I highly doubt that a scum team would allow MrZentor to run like this. Running for mayor = tons of scrutiny on you, and you have to be able to deal with the pressure or you will be pwnt like BM in TL L. While his mayoral campagin was bad, he wasn't all like "oh i want to run sort of but kind of" in a half assed way - he actually believes that his policies are da best, which signals that he doesn't give a fck what people think about him, which doesn't ring scummy to me. Unless they are experienced, scum are usually more scared. MrZentor feels to me like the usual narrow minded strongly opinionated town MrZ. I have failed to see anyone bring up a legitimate reason why MrZentor is scummy, and not merely just bad. The case on him can be summed up as "I didn't like his campgain" and "he's being disruptive", where I fail to see how he has been disruptive. Paragon of townieness? naw. But he's been posting opinions on a few people, which laughably enough is miles more than other players in this game. Captain candidates, since the election is wrapping up, it would be appreciated if you posted who you plan to lynch and why. I added some more people on skype, talk to me pls. | ||

I asked you a question way earlier and you never responded. I asked 3 other people questions and they never answered me. Nothing can get done in thread because people under scrutiny just ignore the scruinty and continue lurking / floating in PM land, such as yourself. If you demand transparency, you have to show it. You're finally starting to get to work, which is moderately redeeming, but seriously. How the hell are we supposed to play this game if no one posts?? Node, where the hell are you? | ||
