Vet is the perfect claim for a scum to make. Next night, when they don't turn up dead, they can say "I guess the scum didn't want to shoot me since I'm a vet and they probably don't have a role blocker and I'm totally town". Not saying that's what happened.
Still don't know why he claimed to begin with. There was less pressure on him at that point then there was earlier in the thread.

4F truly amazes me because his play is so unhelpful, it brings to mind the possibility that he is some sort of small child or otherwise physically incapable of helping us-- beyond scummy. My theory: caught in a web of scummery, he decided his only path to not getting lynched was to play so scummy we'd think he couldn't be scum. The final ploy of a desperate and somewhat unskilled scumplayer.
