Current, coaches are needed for Student Mafia (13 players, 10/3, randomized open setup). This game will have 7 reserved player slots for new and relatively new players (<=3 games played here), and 6 open slots (which still prioritize new/relatively new players over others).

I liked the idea of team mini mafia where we matched veteran/newbie players together. If this game starts in around 2 weeks I can coach, but I am swamped until around December 16th.

Oh, ouch, brutal! I'm new. I want to be good. This sounds like it would be really awesome. I'm currently keeping up to date with XLVII (somehow) and gradually reading through steamship. Would there be better games to read than these?

Drop Steamship in favour of something more traditional, eg. LotR.

My favorite games. Resurrection Mafia hosted by iGrok, Team Melee Mini Mafia hosted by Palmar, Cosmic Horror hosted by Hesmyrr, and My Little Pony Mafia hosted by GMarshal are all excellent games to read IMO. They were really fun to play too ^^

Been playing forum mafia for like 3+ years or something and never tried coaching someone through a game. Sounds fun and smart to increase the number of non noobs!

Let's see what the player distribution happens to be in the game before deciding exactly how to assign coaches.

I'd like to "play along" while observing. If you'd like, I can write up some analysis from what I would have done from town/scum perspectives each day, and then draw on conclusions about the play of each side. It looks like you have plenty of coaches. Rad+syllo are excellent.

I can help either side (all players of said side) but not all players in the game.

*shrug* I have time for both and coaching is much easier as I don't have to post. Its really up to the host of the two games.
