THE TIME HAS COME ![]() Qatol the Paladin, the ever watchful guardian of Liquidia, was paying a visit to the Monastery overlooking the town. It had been nearly a year since he had last visited the quiet place, but he could not ignore iGrok's letter. It was a simple note, and as always it was shrouded in mystery: "Psalm 7". Likely a reference to a Psalm of David - but Qatol was not a religious scholar, and did not know one Psalm from another; therefore, he needed to visit iGrok. Qatol knocked on the huge, oak door; but after nearly 10 minutes with no answer, he pushed it open himself. Perhaps he had come during time for prayer. Qatol walked slowly through the hallway, passing the rooms of various priests, nuns, and acolytes. As he approached the chapel door, he could hear the faint murmur of people praying. After all, this was a monastery - prayer was a pretty popular activity. Quietly, so as not to disturb the service, he opened the door and took a seat in the back row. Up on stage, iGrok the Holy Priest was reciting the 17th Psalm of David. Hear me, Lord, my plea is just; listen to my cry. Hear my prayer - it does not rise from deceitful lips. Let my vindication come from you; may your eyes see what is right. Qatol realized that he was trembling. At first he thought his shakes were due to iGrok's powerful voice, but he quickly realized that there was something monstrous coming down the hall, each step sending a small quake through the stone of the Monastery. Though you probe my heart, though you examine me at night and test me, you will find that I have planned no evil; my mouth has not transgressed. Though people tried to bribe me, I have kept myself from the ways of the violent through what your lips have commanded. My steps have held to your paths; my feet have not stumbled. The quakes were becoming much more violent. The people in the pews were starting to look around, whispering questions to each other. But iGrok carried on with the sermon, seemingly oblivious. Or was he? As the quakes became louder, iGrok's voice grew and grew. Qatol was rapidly becoming deafened by the sounds. I call on you, my God, for you will answer me; turn your ear to me and hear my prayer! Show me the wonders of your great love, you who save by your right hand those who take refuge in you from their foes! Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings from the wicked who are out to destroy me, from my mortal enemies who surround me! BAM! The door to the chapel burst open, revealing an enormous Demon. Various churchgoers screamed and scattered Qatol lept from his seat, unsheathing his sword as he went, as iGrok raced towards them. With a yell, Qatol charged the Demon, and swung his sword with all his might - but his blade simply bounced off the Demon's hide, and Qatol lost his grip, sending the blade flying into the air. The Demon turned to face Qatol, and with one huge swing of his arm, threw him across the chapel. With a sick thud, Qatol's head slammed into the stone wall, and his body fell to the floor, dead. The Demon turned away, and began wrecking the chapel. Pews were crush, stained glass was smashed, and general mayhem was caused. iGrok rushed to Qatol's side. "Not this time. Qatol my friend, you sacrifice yourself nearly every time a new disturbance arises in Liquidia. This time, you live." iGrok placed his hands on Qatol's forehead and whispered an ancient prayer. And with a cough, Qatol returned from the land of the dead. "Quickly!", said iGrok. "Leave this place, and seal the front door. We cannot let them escape! Only God can save us now." "Them?!", Qatol cried. As he turned to look at the demon, he could see other figures, clearly with malicious intents. iGrok shoved Qatol towards the remnants of door, and then faced the Demon himself, chanting the 23rd Psalm. Qatol made his way down the hallway, past the front gate, and used the locking system to seal the door. Now the lock on the outside made sense - he'd always wondered about that. Only after this did he realize he had likely condemned iGrok and the others within to a terrible death. He prayed that the priests would be able to overcome this powerful force of evil. Qatol, the Paladin, has been killed. Qatol, the Paladin, has been resurrected. iGrok, the High Priest, has been killed? The Monastery has been sealed! It is now Day 1! ##vote: Palmar If we have a voting thread I'm gonna make that official. If you want to bring stupidity into this game you can get kicked right out as far as I'm concerned. I don't want anyone getting in the way of town being productive for once. I'm beginning to get really frustrated with the disregard for respect and positive town play in this game.

Mafia can decide to nightkill mafia, and can decide to bring back town players. Priests may decide to bring back any player as well.

Town would be productive if people could pull their heads out of their asses and just read the thread without resorting to emotion. The only stupidity are people who get so blinded by the methods of others that they can't even think straight. I'm here to find scum, not to please your idea of a "pro-town atmosphere".
