the logic isn't weird at all. Guys just look at the facts. This claim was completely useless. There is no difference between checking me or mig or anyone. The result of one check doesn't tell you much about your real role:

sane = normal DT
insane = always the opposite
paranoid = always red
naive = always green

he is not naive, so there is 1/3 of a chance, that I am scum if not miller/framed; 1/3 chance that I am town if not scum or miller and last but not least he may be paranoid and everything he says is worthless.
Now let's get back to what we did before the claim. If DB really is a DT we have to wait another night and compare the results.

Compare the results with what? The only way we can determine his sanity is to flip the people he checks.

DB's claim at this point in time makes no sense for either side, which is why I can't fathom it. It makes infinitely less sense from a Mafia viewpoint though, so I'm inclined to believe his claim.

He didn't try to push the person he got a red result on at all, content to sit back and watch someone else get lynched. His posting suggests that he didn't even consider his sanity, so that can't be the motivation behind it. I really can't make sense of DB's play.

Mig was pushing for DB, I was reconsidering, so there was some pressure building. If you read DB's posts, they scream of someone that feels pressured to me. And in my experience people who have such an easy time claiming a power role are usually lying.

Add to this that his logic doesn't hold up, he had zero reliable knowledge of supersoft's alignment, yet choose to use that as his reason to vote for a third player, mig.

There is some serious lack of critique regarding other peoples alignment showing in DB's posts. I'm inclined to think it's because he already know who's red:

if you lynch me based on that check it would be just stupid. As I pointed out, even if DB is a DT, the check doesn't give us anything. it's a null-tell.

If you kill me, because you are all superdumb and don't see how the sane/insane/paranoid DT system works and i flip green or miller or even red you won't know anything about DB. You won't even know DB DT-class because of the possible framing and the possibility that he's paranoid.

Maybe if I was red, you would know that he probably isn't red... Since I am green you won't even know that...

Same thing if we lynch DB. Because of the possibility that I am framed or Miller, you won't know for sure what I am.

long story short: The check is useless and doesn't give us any information about me and DB, even if you kill one of us.

Yea just the logic behind db's check doesn't really make any sense. Ok so lets say you are a dt you are most suspicious of super day 1. So you check him get red back great you were right! So what is your next move? Write up an analysis and push for the target you know is red. What is Db's? Not even mention his target and vote me because we are connected lol?

Also 2 hours before the end of day1 he mentioned he was most suspicious of hiro and chaoser and suggested lynching them. Why did he not check either of those 2? Look at all the posts he just listed in his analysis of super, all of those occurred before his post attacking hiro/chaoser. If he thought super was scummy that early why did he say hiro/chaoser were the 2 he thought were the most scummy? The choice of his check came out of nowhere.
