All day people call me scummy, I can accept that. What I find intriguing is that even though there never was any vote on me besides Tackster´s and no noteworthy case I recall, I am suddenly #1 vigihit. Redff is basically angry in my eyes, he began suspecting me after I put my vote on him and has constructed from the fact that I said I don´t want to prematurely vote and still voted him that i must be scum, along with anyone I defended. First, it´s OMGUS. I accuse, he accuses right back and with what fervor. Second, me, if i was scum, defending only my partners in crime is the worst assumption ever. Remember plz that Amber talking up again took about half a day. It was entirely plausible that redff´s role would stop the targeted player from speaking for the second half of the day. A possibility. So after a day of watching redff my verdict is obviously angry townie. He reminds me a bit of Viscera and Kurumi in this regard. Palmar on the other hand went back up on my scum radar. He doesn´t know how quick town will die this game, but yet he demands for 4 hits by town. Assuming that we get 3-7 other kills from scumteam, assassins and mad townplayer with guns, we would lose a third of the players in this game just this night. And most of the dead are gonna be town. You can´t be serious, bro. | ||

Firstly, Day 1 wasn't very productive. I don't think this needs to be said, but it bears repeating. Among the newer players, you need to cut the back and forth. It doesn't amount to anything, and it only serves to clog up the thread. State your points once, clearly, and then only bring it up again when it's relevant. There was a lot of arguing, which only causes obfuscation, and lets scum hide behind it. We should also reduce the amount of one-liners and repetition. We get that you think someone is scummy, there's no need to repeat it over and over. For example, redFF, I can see you want to kill Mataza, but you don't need to express the desire every 10 posts, especially when you don't add anything more to it besides repetition. We also need to stop posting one-liners. They're useless, spammy, and normally barely relevant to the discussion at hand. Next, the sudden switch of the lynch at the last second was suspicious, to say the least. I think a lot of it was over-eager town, but it still sits oddly with me, to the extent that I'd suggest a DT check on San/Tack, and a vote-list check on Viscera lynch if possible. It's also unfortunate that BC was killed, as he could have been a valuable asset for town, and it was easy to see he was trying to help focus town. I'm going to go back and look at BC's posts to see if there's anything to learn, and I also think his Zodiac list bears looking at. Last, my thoughts for potential night actions: Detective-style roles: Tackster (For reasons stated) Sandroba (For reasons stated) GMarshal (Acting oddly in my eyes, worth a check) tnkted (Odd actions, claims lynch invulnerability and I'd rather not waste one trying) Palmar (Fist-bumps can be anything, it would be nice to know he's town, at least) Vote-list checks: VisceraEyes lynch, Day 1 (Reasons already stated) Mason style roles: Use your discretion. If you can pressure in PM, pick people who may be scum to ascertain their alignment. If you're unsure of your abilities, pick people who are likely to be town and strong analysts to collaborate with. Medics: Dropbear Node Use it on people, you think are likely to be town, and who are worth protecting or are likely to be hit. Vigilantes and other KP: I'm actually unsure of this at the moment. I might come back later after thinking it through more, but I hope they use their discretion. Just because you can shoot night 1 doesn't mean you need to, especially if you have no strong scum reads. Carpet bombing the town probably isn't a great idea when there's already so much confusion. | ||

I am sure there are mafia who are talking a lot but most of them are probably playing like I have so far (very limited activity).The town is in such a disorganized mess that most of the mafia will just sit back and watch. So I agree with something node said earlier. Dts check the lurkers/ people we can't get reads of. Vets like barundar who are not contributing should be focused on. kurumi is very likely town (he played exactly like this in xxxix as town and lurked much more in pypi as mafia) do not shoot him just because he is annoying. Kurumi for the love of god put some effort into your posts. I honestly skip 2/3 of what you write because it is almost unreadable. Anyway like I said focus hard on lurkers because this is the perfect environment for mafia to just hide in. Oh also I know node already said it but chaos is actively trying to contribute to the town he is an asset don't kill him. | ||

My question for you guys is: Why the fuck are we taking bum SK claim at face value. It's far more likely he's scum. Come'on people. I say if you are SK bum, you better deliver a dead scum for us each and every night, otherwise you get lynched the next day. I can't see you escaping the noose tomorrow unless you start killing your teamates. Have a nice night. | ||

Anyway I was asking deconduo some questions cos the Batmans role reveal was very strange. Deconduo confirmed my suspicions that roles were RNGd to people REGARDLESS OF ALIGNMENT. So for instance it was most likely that batman and joker were both green and the fact that joker is black (allegedly) is just coincidence. Bum - You revealed for no reason... But let's take a look at that later. Also it seemed strange that the Batman and the Joker seemed so interlinked. Again as stated in the OP and confirmed by deconduo - some roles were changed before being sent out (read: nerfed). Because of this the batman and the joker were only linked after they were independently created and before they were assigned. There really is nothing to read into again (again Bum i don't understand your reveal at all). Also because of this we must watch out because some roles may not be the same as those assigned by the player. You guys can confirm this with deconduo independently of course although it is my understanding that's part of the fun and so he won't mention changes to a particular role (i think). Again this may only be with the Batman/Joker roles - I dont know. Ok so now getting onto Bum. I can't believe you wouldn't confirm this before the reveal... Are you seriously expecting to survive with one vest and all of town knowing you're black? From the OP: Serial Killer You win if you are the last one standing. You have a bulletproof vest that can survive two night hits. You also have a gun that has two bullets. If we add in the fact that you're claiming your role power is a gun with 1 bullet/night then you are EXTREMELY vulnerable to everyone. Add to the fact that as you are not an assassin you CANNOT win with town and therefore we have NO reason to ally with you... Bum i really need you to explain this to me as it's very premature. Did you forget to use the RPGs again? Ok another detail I want to mention - we all know who we created a role for. We can't claim it yet but tomorrow hopefully myself, amber, redff and bum's creators can confirm who we are. However remember mafia know who all the other mafia are. If a mafia has created a role for any of us it is in his interest not to claim so that we appear suspicious and die. Also a mafia member that was picked for by another mafia member can claim any role and be confirmed. Because of this i think dt checks should be performed on all people that have revealed their roles AS A RULE. Not only does this confirm abilities as well as alignment (in essence a double check) but also stops mafia from fake claiming which could be disastrous. I want to address a comment by someone (can't remember who) that I should give my ability up to the popular vote. On principle I will NOT do this. I have the ability to make someones vote useless. Seeing as this is only useful for ties it isn't very helpful yet anyway. However I will obviously quash anyone i feel is scum. If i know some CONFIRMED greens then I will obviously take their opinions into account as well or discuss tactics or something. However I cannot let this ability be affected by mafia and as such will be choosing based on my internal scumdar. Live with that and if you dont like it hang me. Like I said it's not really a big deal yet anyway. Now I promised to work harder at this so I asked some questions I thought were important and I've posted what I know. I'm going to bed and will read up and add more flavour tomorrow. Sanroba this is not a fluff post as you can see and to be honest I felt my last one wasn't either.
