pretty sure its better for people to post things in the thread -- much easier to catch red slips that way.
if people only post in these mini town circles, then people are probably more inclined psychologically to trust their town circle and not consider them red, etc.

i have great reads on both of them, but i dont know what else i need to say about it. can you tell me why chaoser and GM are NOT red?
the cells idea is horrible. why do we want to keep analysis private? there is no point in "bouncing off ideas" to a RNG "town circle". this only hurts us. why keep analysis of any type from the town? also, the point of these town circles is what exactly? to have people critique any analysis before "revealing" it? ok assume that is the case, then what happens when the mafia are in these cells? player A says "OK so i got an analysis on player D (outside the cell), who i think is mafia" player B says "no thats horrible, ________" and convinces A. A now doesnt say anything, to not look stupid (that IS the point of these cells, after all!). oops, B and D are mafia. we're fucked.
if A just came out and said "hey i have this analysis" B is probably less likely to defend D if it's blatant redness

here is the funny thing. LSB is probably upset at me for what i did to him the last mafia game, so he is going to try to do the same thing to me that i did to him. i see it coming.

the wagon only rolled on me late in day 2, and it wouldnt have rolled if not for ROL pushing it.
and of course i knew ROL was mafia; he gave the vest to my guy who got instantly killed (stupidly). i knew he had the vest, i knew he gave the vest, and i knew the vest was used, since he said so in IRC before the kill came through. so i didnt need to do any elimination, i knew he was mafia.
at the end, kav was retarded and said "i dont want to piss ROL off because he is my mentor in mafia" as his reason for switching. literally. that was his reason. and once he did switch, i had to give us the best chance we had. i was going to medic everyone (assuming no deaths > deaths at night, esp. since mafia controls KP at night). so kav had a bomb going that i medic saved a mafia on... i was supposed to know this how?
that game seriously pissed me off and its funny how even now you don't see what was completely fucking dumb about that game.

mafia is not a short-term game. it's a long-term game. just because i MIGHT be dead today doesn't mean i need to give up my entire hand. as it is i still think i have a chance, since people are jumping off my wagon. the problem is they are creating other, split wagons in the process... but with 90 minutes to go, i figure i should keep this up since it is working.

1. i am no more aggressive than i ever am. i play this game hard because there is no reason not to. i "go big or go home" usually. aggression is not a bad thing. TL players in general should learn to be more aggressive; it might cure the inactivity problem. nobody can argue that no matter what my role is, at least i make day 1 interesting...
that said, i do not feel myself being purposefully aggressive this game, and in fact i figured i wasnt being as hardcore as i usually am. but who knows, maybe it comes off that way
2. i was "easy to read" in 35 because i attacked LSB day 1 -- as a red -- with logic that LSB thought was crap because he knew he was town and i knew he was town. but i managed to convince everyone about it. i write pages and pages of stuff because A. i figured i could get him dead and B. it gave everyone else on my team cover. i knew i had to remove experience so my team could coast to victory on the back of the inactivity and inexperience remaining in the game. this was calculated and intentional. i still believe LSB gave me a good door to attack him through, even as he may disagree.
35 has nothing to do with 37. GM came up with what i still think was a crap idea, even if some people may like it, so i said such.
3. yeah my posts are related to GM and/or defending myself. it's day 1, these are the only topics at hand. when you get 11 votes of course you will be spending a disproportionate amount of time defending.

i had to have figured i would be going out early this game, so i played it with that knowledge in my head. i tried to set us up for a late game (which is what i always try to do).
i tried to implicate 3 people, so that town, if they went for mafia, would then waste votes on the other 2, and if they went for town, they would think "ok he just attacked towns"
it seems to me like i should just stop attacking on day 1 regardless of my color it seems to get me in trouble. i just cant wrap my head around this. i sign up to play, and i play balls out.

for the record i still believe the day 1 idea was fucking retarded.
my goal on day 1 for aggressiveness is to stir the pot and kill inactivity, and to make people talk. the way i see it, i would usually much rather play 100% and die in 2 days than lurk and survive to LYLO. if i am town, i am trying to throw mafia off their game plan, get people on the record, judge reaction, etc. if i am mafia, i am trying to appear as if i am doing the exact same thing.
like i honestly try to play day 1 and day 2 the exact same way if i am mafia or not. i think as mafia it is stupid to construct elaborate plans so early. you need more moves on the table before you can tweak shit up. so before we get to that point with some of the pieces removed, try to play just as you would a greenie. and for me, thats usually a strong offense
