I'm looking for two experienced or enthusiastic co-hosts for [N]TL Mafia LVII

The deadlines will be at 22:00 GMT (+00:00), so make sure you only sign up if you expect to be available consistently at that time.

I'm looking for people interested in setup designing, I have a rough idea what I want to do, but I love bouncing ideas just to make sure we get the most interesting game possible. The goal is to create a normal game worth remembering.

[T]Holy Roman Mafia has ended in a draw (or mafia win? don't know if mafia kp goes first, it was 1v1 the last night) and it wasn't even a caller-esque set-up. Anyways it's over, that's for sure.

Guys, I got a great idea for Mafia. I'm not allowed to host.

It would be off a bipolar or tag-team theme.
I think it would be like this: two people to a role, and they would get random PMs telling them which one of them can post. For night actions a list of players are sent out out of the pairs that can make the action. If one person in the pair dies their partner dies with them.

Why I think this game would be good:

Mafia could claim a partner. The most confirmed townie could be tainted with a claim by the scummiest in town.
Hard defending. The game would be full of hard defending as you don't want Your partner to die and the Mafia will try to bus their partner.

Appreciate feedback!

Not the same, but there was once a tag-team mafia game, Couples Therapy, where two players shared the same role, pairings were public, and decided on lynches and nightactions together through PMs. It was an interesting game, small but with 18 players on only 9 roles, there was a LOT of activity and analysis.

Personally I always thought that the Team Melee Mafia games were good. Allows you to have a lot of players in a game while keeping it relatively short. Furthermore since you can talk to your partner it encourages activity and allows people to bounce ideas off each other and get input while they are playing. It seemed to me the quality of those games were always pretty good.

I wouldn´t mind seeing another Couples Therapy game in the near future.
