In a normal setup, Townies do not know their roles and it wouldnt be helpful if 2 Vigs or 2 Doctors went to the same person generally (Doctor can protect from KP stacks from Mafia but that's situational).
Lets say that we want to protect Foolishness and a confirmed townie and both our doctors are alive. We can say "Doctor who is closer to the top of the sign up list protect Foolishness" and "Doctor who are closer to the end protect Confirmed Townie"
Now i understand that this is a gamble because the doctors themselves cant tell if theyre the higher or lower doctor (if theyre #3 and #4 that sucks), but this would help coordinate town better imo.
Also, this may not be as useful if the doctors are uncertain to use their ability on the target and do not cooperate. This line is exactly why such a plan would never work: you have no idea where the doctors are in the signup list so you're just rolling the dice praying they're on opposite sides of the signup list. And relying on luck is not a tactic people like to use.
My real question is, why are we directing medics at all? Let them make their own choices, do they think that Mr. Claimed Dt is important enough to protect? Then they should. Do they think mafia won't shoot him? Then they need to protect someone else. Generally we shouldn't be directing blues. That was never the purpose of blue action lists. Blue lists are there to serve as a focus of discussion. Medic lists in particular aren't supposed to be binding to the medics, rather they are supposed to create enough wifom that the mafia is scared to shoot into the list.
I generally object to leading blues. Plus, what happens if they are #15, #16? 
Its not a bad idea, I just can't think of a circumstance where it would be useful.

I'm going afk for about two months. I debated whether I should post something so nonmafia related and "who cares" content but I finally decided to because you guys are my ebros and this explains why I'm not joining games (again not that anyone was wondering but just in case). Anyway don't do any crazy shit while I'm gone, it's kinda my place right now to be involved in any mafia related drama . Also someone needs to host XLI just for posterities sake. People need to help Chaoser update the library (shhh I know I'm a massive hypocrite  ). Also the stickies should probably be consolidated somehow, maybe just the banlist, ongoing games, the library, and a "read this first.". Someone or preferably several people should work on a "read this first." If said project gets done before I get back PLEASE pm me (I'll check once in a while) before you implement it because I have something I think would help it.
Anyway this is a lot longer than I thought it would be. I may swing around to Anaheim so I may actually meet some of you IRL. To the rest of you, see you in a couple months.

I can't even imagine all of the mods who wanted to perm this guy, but couldn't because he was expressing a well articulated viewpoint.
