Posting this here too: because Zona's guinea pig game isn't really a serious game, I'm just not going to count it at all for the purposes of this list. If you're on the ban list, you can play and it doesn't count as sitting out a game.

After talking to Ace, I'm giving d3_crescentia a warning about his behavior in World at War Mafia. (From what I understand, he's in Italy and dropped out of the game midway through as a result?) I don't understand why this isn't a simple concept: if you know you're going to be taking a trip to Europe and won't have access to a computer, don't make an obligation which requires that you come online and post at least once a day. It isn't like this trip came out of nowhere.
And this should really be a general principle: if you know you aren't going to have the time to play, don't sign up. Otherwise, your disappearance causes a major disturbance in the game.
Also, [NyC]HoBbes is off the list. Thanks for being such a good sport.

Yeah, Abenson pulled off something somewhat similar in both Micro-MAFIA 1 and WaW. One mod replaced him and the other just waited out the weekend, so he avoided the modkill black mark there.
I'm going to post an estimate of the real-life-time commitment for my games from now on. The 9-player Micro-MAFIAs demand at most 11 real life days except for corner cases.

I knew I was taking a trip to Europe in 2 weeks, and I knew I had access to the internet during the first half of my trip at the very least. I made the assumption that the game could have been finished by then - in about 3 weeks time.
I assumed wrong - or rather, I assumed. My mistake.

Not only would it have been good for myself and the game but also good for my wallet - hotels charge a ridiculous amount for internet (5-10€ per hour WTF). Yeargh.

The game was almost over and you still managed to post here and there. When I wrote that, I was under the impression that you wouldn't be able to post at all. I'm just hoping this serves as a good example for other people to think their schedule through before they decide to play.

So it looks like best[alive] just got banned from TL? What shall be done, oh great and wise Qatol?

The TL staff decisions are completely independent of what we do here, other than that I'm going to avoid putting people on the list if they were banned from TL (because 1 punishment is enough). I think I'll leave his name up on there though, just in case he decides to come back later. That way if we have a staff member check usernames for smurfs (which happens every few games), they know what akas to look for.

i promise i'm not a smurf
we should totally have a smurf game, again, though
