However, if you really want him to play, just make your game not follow the ban list. Well I would let kenpachi count it, but can he count the game if I let chaoser in?

Generally inactive players are also banned from my games. How are you regulating the concept of "generally inactive players"? How inactive is inactive? I'm guessing someone like Kuja or Clazz makes the list easily, but how and where are you drawing the line?

I should be unbanned after that right? sat out XXXV too Sorry, you haven't finished sitting out XXXV. It isn't over. Also, I'm not certain we decided 2 games was the right amount. We'll figure it out when XXXV ends.

If he has an explanation (internet went out, family emergency, etc.) I'd take him off the banlist completely if annul can agree with that. I've been active in all previous games and this was totally a one time thing =[. On December 19 2010 00:57 Qatol wrote: What do we want to do for someone who disappears while playing in 2 games at the same time? 2 modkills and a double ban sentence seems really harsh. I mean, the double ban sentence is really for repeat offenders, but Chaoser only went inactive 1 time. Plus he didn't sit out a game in between. I think it might be more appropriate to give a 2 game ban for this sort of thing. What does everyone else think? Incognito wrote: This is chaoser's first ban, correct? If so, I'd just say give him a 1 game ban and count the warning towards his next ban. i.e. next game is a 4 game ban instead of 3. I see this more as a genuine mistake. As far as I remember chaoser doesn't appear on my list of assumed inactives. I'm not sure how much I like the 1 ban for each game policy. Its not like he could have voted in one game and not the other either. Double punishment for a single incident is kinda harsh. On December 25 2010 03:20 ~OpZ~ wrote: I think Chaoser should get off. Give him a lingering warning, that will be wiped off after his next game or next two or something. Assuming no history of bans: Poll: Punishment for 2 modkills at the same time? 1 game ban + warning after being taken off Ban List (6) 2 game ban (5) 1 game ban (4) 3 game ban (1) other (please specify) (1) 17 total votes Your vote: Punishment for 2 modkills at the same time? (Vote): 1 game ban

If the reason for it is something lame like "sorry slept in, oh I forgot" or the like a 2 game ban + a warning after removal from the ban list would be more in line. Now, in the case of chaoser I honestly think he should only have to sit out one game at most as his reason sounds pretty legit. 1 game ban at most for him.

PM from and response to Insanious dealing with his "voting but not posting" modkill. I do have to apologize for that--unfortunately that's Incognito that didn't do the aforementioned modkilling, so in fairness I'll make it so you aren't punished on the ban list for this. Either way, these rules (must post and must vote) may seem slightly arbitrary, but the purpose of these "activity requirements" is, well, to promote activity. Even though you did vote, you did not post in the main thread. Inactivity is a pain to everybody. As the host, I don't like seeing people not show interest in the game. As a player, I hate seeing an empty thread. Original Message From Insanious: I hate to post? I voted... you didn't mod kill 5 people before for not posting, why are you mod killing people now? There needs to be some new way of dealing with these increasingly prevalent and aggravating activity (or the lack thereof) issues. Too many people have simply voted/posted "as so not to get modkilled." If I am to host games in the future, I'll be following in Ace's stead and not accepting people that I know will not be active.
