I think we need to focus on how much information we get from each lynches. Seems right now the three prime suspects from the voting thread would be keit, Mystlord, and DrH. If we lynch keit and he turns blue/green, could very well mean DrH is red. If he turns red, while DrH advokates that it means he couldn't be red, as it as been said before it could be a mafia sacrifice to save DrH. Also, we don't get others leads from a keit lynch, since it's mostly between him and DrH. If we lynch Mystlord and he turns blue/green, I don't even see what info we get except that we failed again at clue analysis. If he does turn red tho, I gives us an important hint toward DrH. Finally, if we lynch DoctorHelvetica and he turns blue/green, we have one certain mafia member as the "detective". We also have strong lead on those others people citi.zen mentionned that had been advocating a DrH lynch in PMs. It might also be a hint toward keit. If he instead flips red, Mystlord seems a very likely mafia, we have 200+ posts to analyze from a mafia's viewpoint, and a confirmed DT. | ||

yes i guess i am a bandwagoner. although i haven't been an active poster, i've been skimming the forum. i've read all the clues given by mods, but i haven't really had the confidence to post anything that contributes out of fear of being suspected. i'm new to tl.net and mafia, so i wanted to make sure i knew how to play before participating and i didn't want to have to defend my arguments from like five other people. i've also been having an insanely busy month = applying to colleges, financial aid stuff, interviews, applying to summer programs, keeping my grades up for the colleges i was deferred from, squash matches + practice, my senior piano recital coming up in 2 weeks, etc. so when i signed up, my intention was to just watch and vote according to the majority. now that the game has escalated to a point where one of the biggest contributors is being accused by another major contributor, i just felt that i should put my 2c in to make up for inactivity. honestly i don't have a very strong reason as to why i trust dochelvetica. i've trusted him from the start, mostly cuz of his high post count + his tone of voice seems especially logical. almost everything he says makes sense. i also trust citi.zen and meeple because they also seem very logical. i know my blind trust makes me suspicious, but i really don't care enough to hide the fact that i'm a bandwagoner. i do know why i'm accusing who i'm accusing. i don't know how you can accuse me of not knowing why. i only voted for keit before citi.zen's argument because the two before me voted for him as well (i got a warning from a mod saying that i'd be modkilled if i didn't vote because i hadn't voted before that), but i didn't realize that he was probably going to be modkilled. i'm going to change it to mystlord cuz of the thick air clue because i'm sure most people, including incognito, would read mystlord as mistlord. the thick air seems too purposeful to not be a clue. as for flamewheel, the clue from day 2 with the olympian running speed suggests him. it's not that i don't know why i'm accusing him, it's just that i thought it was already agreed upon by both dochelvetica and meeple, so i didn't look into the clue too much, which led me to eventually forget it and mark flamewheel as someone who should be lynched. the fact that doctorhelvetica missed the mist clue shouldn't be the main reason if you're going to accuse him. maybe hes played the game myst (which i just wikied) before and his mind automatically read that as myst and not mist. i didn't know how double lynching worked, so i guess my argument is kaput. i probably should've just not posted anything. all of my 'not knowing' + 'band-wagoning' definitely makes me look suspicious, but at this point idk. sorry for not using quotes. off to bed. hf | ||

To clarify a few things: You can abstain from voting, which will keep you "active" and prevent you from being modkilled. My clue was not 'agreed upon' by both DrH and meeple, as meeple found tredmasta more of a candidate for mafioso from that clue than he did me. The fact that DrH missed the mist clue isn't the main reason, if you read citi.zen's post on page 74. It is merely one of several factors. | ||

I make a post saying we should ease back on clues and look elsewhere for evidence. DH agreed with me, then promptly did an about face 180 without saying anything and voted for kane off of a clue. uhhh what da? DTs should check those who tried to save DrH early on and who were inactive otherwise. Derfboy comes to mind. Do it asap so you can relay to citizen and if we get a mafia someone can vigi them. | ||
