Indeed. He IS the Dade, and EDG IS the Ozone of this year. You can't use the "they got out of groups" defense and be an honest person. Last year groups had 5 teams compared to 4.

Zero was easily MVP of that last game. He saved Insec from himself when he went on his adventures around Baron Bush. The ONLY mistake noticeable was the missed pink early in the game that sat for 10-15 minutes. Zero is the glue holding this team together, Uzi just happens to be godly on things that have ranged auto attacks.

im just sad that Cloud 9 didnt win the tiebreaker game and went to this side of the bracket. They could have easily made semis, and possibly the finals.

I wonder if his janna will draw any bans though. his nami is pretty good but nothing like his janna. was not impressed by his thresh.
Even the casters said it, they only lost the games Janna was banned. It has to be banned. Uzi is going to be Uzi no matter what he picks, so its best not to waste bans on that.

The thing is, Dade is the most successful domestic player (in terms of finals appearances) in an era where an average season of OGN The Champions has more high calibre opponents than the World Championships. NaMei is the most successful player in a league that cannot be compared to OGN The Champions in terms of overall calibre. He is an amazing player, but he cannot fall back on his domestic legacies like Dade can, because of the discrepancies of their respective domestic leagues.

I hope Zero stays with UZI in S5, if only because I can't see UZI transitioning to anyone else, but at the same time I want him to be on a better *cough*korean*cough* team where he doesn't have to keep saving teammates from themselves. Then again being a firefighter might very well be his true calling

But they've proven that they still stomp anyone who isn't Korean (and up until early 2013 could match Koreans r i p W E)

Yeah but he was considered by many to be the best ADC in China. I think that's a pretty meaningful title to have for that particular position.

I am just talking about hype/worlds performance. I mean, Ozone ended worlds 5-4 after losing the tiebreaker, EDG is 6-6 in the end.
People seem to have been retroactively walking back their China hype since day 1 when White stomped EDG, but we shouldn't forget how ridiculous it was.

Plus you've seen for yourself how ADC-targeting CN teams are.
His Worlds performance has severely damaged his rep though, lol.

Yea...you could brush off Namei's performance in groups as nerves or unfamiliarity against non-Chinese teams, but today he just played...mediocre. Based on his play today he's nowhere near the title of best AD carry China, much less world.
I mean, Uzi just styled all over him except in game 4. Ffs, Namei almost single handedly threw game 3 for EDG multiple times.

EDG got a free group, TSM went 1-1 against SHRC, and then completely threw the game to not have the tiebreaker and OMG was literally 1 auto attack from a 1-1 to Fnatic. Saying China stomping anyone who isnt korean is pretty untrue..

So assuming Najin wins tomorrow we'd get a Ro4 with 17 out of 20 players from Korea and 4 Korean head coaches ? Lol.

How good is Cloud anyway?
Will it be like Cop/Elementz upgraded to Cop/Xpecial?

My memory of Cloud's play is pretty blurry, but looking at Dada... Yes. He's at the very very very very least proficient and can land skillshots

First time on big stage could mean choke though.

True. the China Talk ppl's super-effusive praise of him made me side-eye them quite a bit. And Cloud's return may or may not improve the team's synergy (synergy is overrated, but OMG'll need it to take down NJWS)
