But still all 3 european teams had some bad luck, even if they can mostly blame themselves (especially alliance for losing to kabum, this should have never ever ever ever happened).
Fnatic were 1 auto attack from getting out of the toughest group remember :D SK with sven went 2-1 in a pretty stacked group too.
In the end it doesn't even matter (™) because the samsung teams will crush the bracket, the chinese team are not impressive and TSM and C9 are not up there yet either. In fact european teams would have a better shot at it because somehow they pull miracle games from time to time, it's a shame they are so damn inconsistent (something that C9 is not).
Luckily for some team a samsung final is not possible due to the way the bracket has been done (and i'm quite confident Riot has done it on purpose) so we will probably end up with an other KR vs CN final because 3 chinese teams against NJWS should be enough to take them down seeing how they played in the group stage.

Eh, I dunno, I think more tournaments for the sake of more tournaments doesn't really help things. If anything you'll get a scenario like in Hockey, where the big guns (read: Korea) just dont give a shit about any of the tournaments except the biggest one.
