Unfounded matchfixing accusations are not welcome. Refrain from making off-the-wall accusations without concrete evidence.

if i remember correctly that game had no impact to group placement our outcome, and ended up being regi trolling by playing teemo.

Wow, C9 with the clutch win and Alliance with the choke. Too bad both American dreams are gonna get stomped by both Samsung teams in the first round of the bracket LOL. And then right into the team kill. Better semi-finals than actual finals? Worlds is shaping up to be more like OGN after all.

TSM vs GG.EU was a throwaway game with 3rd/4th implications.
ALL vs Kabum was a game with leaving groups on the line.

it was pretty much expected, everyone knew najin shield was the shitty korean team of the 3. figured alliance and c9 might take some games off them. only legitimate upsets for me are kabum win and the fnatic win.

The question is, do you think SKT would have been the better pick to go to worlds?

Only thing Hai's Talon can kill is C9's shot at the finals.

For this playoffs, I'd say its a tossup between Shook and Nyph and Wickd and Nyph. Nyph can't even build halfway decently as a support, it's a complete embarrassment. Even in their wins he's barely doing anything . You take away Lee Sin from Shook and Irelia from Wickd, and they're both completely lost. The team as a whole had horrible vision control, which mostly falls on Nyph and Shook.

For being a "super team" and "the best of EU" they have like 2 good players after picks and bans, if the other team bans correctly. I'll be pretty shocked if Nyph isn't booted within a month.

yo are quarterfinals bo3 or bo5?

Also what's with the warning from the top of the thread, did someone get accused of match fixing?

BO5 I think, also people were speculating about SSB after their first loss on Day 2 of the groups, which was pretty stupid.

"Proven they had top 4 potential", 2 stomps vs najin shield and 1 win which is a close game tied vs Alliance. The only thing c9 has proven is hai is shit without syndra/zed. He will go feedingspree if he doesnt had those two champs. His Zilean/talon is horrible.

Tsm stomped by royal game 1, random throws vs sk. I put them above OMG.

I think it's interesting that the standings for groups were consistent with expectations, KR > CN > West, but in terms of individual games, the results were super whacky with lots of upsets.

Wow, it's been almost a year since I posted, lol. Happened to play a few games of League recently and tune into Worlds while working weekends, but I've been working so much recently that I've had no time for gaming of any kind.

Honestly impressed by how much better the NA teams understand the mid/late game than they did a year ago. Chalk it up to outside talent coming in, or maybe more attention paid to other scenes, but it's a really noticeable difference. I actually think that the NA teams, in general, had the best pick/ban phases of the group stage too.

The Korean teams and, for the most part, the Chinese teams still have the better mechanics and laning, but strategy wise the playing field seems a lot more even than it did a year ago.

Actually a really fun and competitive group stage overall, even if the results were mostly as expected there were a lot of really close games.

Saying Froggen/Tabzz didn't fuck up is retarded. Froggen draw one ban whole group stage and went full hipster like he always does and didn't play Zed/Yasuo even tho he can play them. Also he didn't hard carry any of Alliance games.
Tabzz wasn't impressive at all compare to others adc's.

I think Froggen would be a better DotA player than LoL player, tbh. He is very strong and clear cut position 1 player that likes to playmake and crush things late game, and he is mechanically amazing.

Put him on Faceless Void or Spectre and I dont think he'd ever lose.
