if i remember correctly that game had no impact to group placement our outcome, and ended up being regi trolling by playing teemo.

Unfounded matchfixing accusations are not welcome. Refrain from making off-the-wall accusations without concrete evidence.

The question is, do you think SKT would have been the better pick to go to worlds?

Nyph can't even build halfway decently as a support, it's a complete embarrassment. Even in their wins he's barely doing anything . You take away Lee Sin from Shook and Irelia from Wickd, and they're both completely lost. The team as a whole had horrible vision control, which mostly falls on Nyph and Shook. For being a "super team" and "the best of EU" they have like 2 good players after picks and bans, if the other team bans correctly. I'll be pretty shocked if Nyph isn't booted within a month.

Also what's with the warning from the top of the thread, did someone get accused of match fixing?

BO5 I think, also people were speculating about SSB after their first loss on Day 2 of the groups, which was pretty stupid.

Also looks like another shitty final "Proven they had top 4 potential", 2 stomps vs najin shield and 1 win which is a close game tied vs Alliance. The only thing c9 has proven is hai is shit without syndra/zed. He will go feedingspree if he doesnt had those two champs. His Zilean/talon is horrible. Tsm stomped by royal game 1, random throws vs sk. I put them above OMG.

Honestly impressed by how much better the NA teams understand the mid/late game than they did a year ago. Chalk it up to outside talent coming in, or maybe more attention paid to other scenes, but it's a really noticeable difference. I actually think that the NA teams, in general, had the best pick/ban phases of the group stage too. The Korean teams and, for the most part, the Chinese teams still have the better mechanics and laning, but strategy wise the playing field seems a lot more even than it did a year ago. Actually a really fun and competitive group stage overall, even if the results were mostly as expected there were a lot of really close games.
